Disney News, Discussion & an Element of Fun!

For anybody who is wondering and doesn't want to read the whole article, it is simply that instead of 3 people being able to ride again, it is 2 :)
Thank you. I really hate the "trick" of putting a ton of unnecessary info at the top of the article so you have to scroll passed all the ads. Lead with the info, then add in details, but that doesn't get ad impressions.

Just called Disney and they said that this wasn't true, fwiw

It's been years since I had to call Disney with a question. But, back when we did - if you called and didn't like the answer, you hung up and called again. Odds were you didn't get the same answer two times in a row on any subject. Just because information didn't always trickle evenly and quickly to all parties answering the phones/questions.

Not the element of fun, but yeah, it is news from Disneyland Paris.

Besides backlash regarding changes to FP and to the annual passes, another thing caused backlash yesterday. A woman who was breastfeeding in public was asked by security not to do that...
Of course it went viral, politicians got upset, Natasche Rafalski said that they regret it, and it's not in line with policy... but yeah, it did happen.

This kind of thing makes me livid, that they would shame a nursing mother!

That's exactly what the politician (she is minister of French Citizenship) said.
Someone posted a picture on Twitter, Disneyland Paris answered that they had special facilities in the Baby Care Center. The minister replied on Twitter with:

Breastfeeding a baby is not a crime. It's good that you have dedicated rooms, but you don't decide when or where a baby is going to be hungry. Don’t start stigmatizing mothers too, it’s hard enough everywhere else. Thank you in advance.

Then it went viral and DLP replied with:
We deeply regret this situation and once again offer our sincere apologies to the mother concerned. The request made of it is not in line with our rules of procedure and our values. There are no restrictions on breastfeeding at Disneyland Paris. Disneyland Paris provides parents with young children with various service locations within the destination for those who would prefer a dedicated location. Disneyland Paris is committed to providing a welcoming and inclusive environment for all families

Only by then, the damage was already done.

Actually... the first date to sell out in Sept was a Friday.... interestingly enough the original two sept dates that were sold out are not the current date to be sold out... 😬🤷🏼‍♀️
What were the original dates that first sold out in Sept?

We’re going Fri Sept 17 even tho we expected it to be busier than the Tues & Sun we are there. Fri worked better with our schedule.
