Yeah, they worked for me as well. On the plus side, this hopefully means that on days when EPCOT has extended evening hours, there will also be a standby queue for Guardians rather than the need to reserve VQ spot. That will be nice!
Surprised at this since Test Track isn't ready yet..I assume a VQ when it first opens up.
This should also drive up individual Lightning Lane sales...or whatever they are called now. No more atomic clock on my phone haha
At least they'd be doing something with it. There is a place in town that seems similar to Level99 (it's called AMUSE), but I haven't been to it. It's not too different from what DisneyQuest was. If they could add some of The Void type VR things, it would be great!
Update: It has been confirmed that Level99 will be opening at Disney Springs! The announcement did not mention specifically if the location will be the former NBA Experience, but it will be on the West Side and with "over 60 challenge rooms" so I think that is likely.
Great news for normies and casuals, awful news for people who knew how to game the system (aka me).
I agree that it's for the best for most guests but nothing beat EEH days when I guaranteed 3 rides with next to no wait, or booking a spot on arrival day from in flight wifi. No way is that happening anymore
Oof. They pulled the rug out from under me with Tron in Sept so I feel your pain.
This actually has me totally rethinking our arrival day in May now. We always grab a BG on the plane ride down or at the airport lounge and head to Epcot first, ride Guardians and grab lunch at a festival booth. Now idk what we're going to do.

We are doing a BWI/Poly split and plan on using the water park tickets when we switch resorts. Didn’t want to do it on arrival day since we get in the Sunday before Memorial Day and I was a bit concerned about crowds. We may just do a chill pool day at BWI instead.

I'm not sure if the SAB closure caused this, but the pool was packed and the pool bar line was crazy. It was like 85 that day though, so probably another reason. Have a great trip, BW Poly split sounds wonderful.
You are eligible on the first day of check in for every reservation so in theory if you did multiple split stays you could go to the waterparks multiple times.
