Disney News, Discussion & an Element of Fun - 2025 Edition

I will admit that's a bummer. I liked the VQs, and am arriving on 2/28. C'est la vie!
Yeah, they worked for me as well. On the plus side, this hopefully means that on days when EPCOT has extended evening hours, there will also be a standby queue for Guardians rather than the need to reserve VQ spot. That will be nice!

Very much a rumor at this point, but could be cool if true:

At least they'd be doing something with it. There is a place in town that seems similar to Level99 (it's called AMUSE), but I haven't been to it. It's not too different from what DisneyQuest was. If they could add some of The Void type VR things, it would be great!

Update: It has been confirmed that Level99 will be opening at Disney Springs! The announcement did not mention specifically if the location will be the former NBA Experience, but it will be on the West Side and with "over 60 challenge rooms" so I think that is likely.

This is very interesting to me as I really enjoy stuff like this. 😁

Big news (for me and my Guardians addiction):

Great news for normies and casuals, awful news for people who knew how to game the system (aka me).

I agree that it's for the best for most guests but nothing beat EEH days when I guaranteed 3 rides with next to no wait, or booking a spot on arrival day from in flight wifi. No way is that happening anymore

Bingo. I too had planned to book a spot on Guardians at 7AM before heading to the airport next Friday.

Oof. They pulled the rug out from under me with Tron in Sept so I feel your pain.

This actually has me totally rethinking our arrival day in May now. We always grab a BG on the plane ride down or at the airport lounge and head to Epcot first, ride Guardians and grab lunch at a festival booth. Now idk what we're going to do.

F&W booths are usually a good choice. How about that check in water park day? That still in play if on-site?

We are doing a BWI/Poly split and plan on using the water park tickets when we switch resorts. Didn’t want to do it on arrival day since we get in the Sunday before Memorial Day and I was a bit concerned about crowds. We may just do a chill pool day at BWI instead.

Makes sense. Can I ask for future ref, "could" you do a water park on arrival, and also when you switch resorts? Or is it only once per stay.

I'm not sure if the SAB closure caused this, but the pool was packed and the pool bar line was crazy. It was like 85 that day though, so probably another reason. Have a great trip, BW Poly split sounds wonderful.

You are eligible on the first day of check in for every reservation so in theory if you did multiple split stays you could go to the waterparks multiple times.

Yep. We have multiple entitlements in the app, one for each check in day. They are attached to your resort reservation.

The horticulture team has installed several bold and colorful plants on the walkway next to the Mexico pavilion. This walkway usually features the Tropical Rainforest and Extraordinary Orchids gardens.

Orchids of various colors, including pink, purple, and yellow, are attached to a tree in a lush garden setting with palm trees in the background.
