Yes! I agree! Recently I was sent a survey about the 50th and I wrote a whole paragraph
to say that the Spaceship Earth lighting “show” was the number one best thing they did for the 50th by far!

I agree! That was by far the best thing they came up with. I tear up just sitting and watching it - even when I'm on the bus back from Disney Springs and see it in the distance. Though Kite Tails comes in second for the absolute hilarious fun and potential for disaster. RIP

Enchantment was fine, but it didn't wow me. It never made me cry the way HEA does every single time - no matter how many times I see it. Harmonious did not do it for me. The show was fine, but it's the first time I can ever say I was bored at a Disney nighttime show. I felt zero emotional connection to what I was seeing. The weird Kraken arms were creepy to me, and the Stargate could only be clearly seen from a couple of places - everyone else was just guessing at what was going on there. Don't get me started on the day time views - seriously, what were they thinking???? I know a lot of people on this thread enjoyed it and I respect that. But for me, those barges leaving will be a cause for celebration!

I spent 2 hours taking photos of it one night with my camera and tripod. I need to process the photos, but some of them were surprisingly really good. I want to get one printed large on metal.

Ah yes, the traditional Norwegian dish Corn Dog Nuggets haha... Seriously the one time we did eat here I thought the meatballs were amazing...but this is all about meeting the princesses. Got some really good pics here a few years back of my much younger children.

I haven’t really been following this restaurants reopening, but I think I read the buffet is gone is that accurate?

My daughter has requested a Princess meal for our trip, and I’m trying to decide what the better option is. We loved the breakfast buffet with smoked salmon and meats last time but with out that breakfast won’t work for us…so I guess I’d do lunch then….

Yes, the koldtbord buffet is gone (no more gjetost, boo!). Prior to the conversion to character dining we loved Akershus for the food. We even braved the influx of urchins after the conversion. But now with the meatballs and rice cream as the only nods to Norwegian fare, it's not worth it unless you just specifically want to pay to see the princesses up close.
