As I was looking to watch « Impressions de France » around 7:30pm last night, I noticed the sign above the theatre entrance was still announcing the Beauty and the Beast sing a long.

A CM at the entrance told me that Impressions de France earliest presentation had been pushed back to 8:30pm four days before. It seems this show is quietly being phased out by Disney. I also assume that once Epcot comes back to a 9pm closure, the 8:30pm presentation will be the one and only.

Ever since returning from closure it has kind of varied between 30-90 minutes of how long they show it.

Been MIA, was down at WDW for a little over a week, then managed to catch some crud (thankfully not Covid) two days before I left for home. Sadly that meant I missed the Christmas party, which was disappointing but I don't think I could have hacked doing a party last Tuesday. Overall a very good trip, hoping to go back next February to catch the end of the Festival of the Arts at EPCOT.

Tokyo Disney Resort Bans Merchandise Reselling

The Tokyo Disney Resort has recently updated its “Theme Park Usage Agreement,” and listed in its “Prohibited Acts” section is this little gem — “Purchasing products or souvenirs for the purpose of resale.” Yes, Tokyo Disney Resort has now made buying merchandise for the purpose of reselling it a reason to be removed from the park or banned altogether.

The new agreement, which will go into effect on Wednesday, December 21, 2022, states that customers shall not engage in any of the acts listed below when using the Park. “In addition, the violation of this paragraph shall be reasonably determined by the Company based on rational grounds.”

Disney Cruise Line’s 50% Off Required Deposit Offer Returns for Select New Bookings Through February 17, 2023

Disney Cruise Line is preparing to ring in the new year by once again offering a 50% off initial deposit promotion for new bookings departing between June 19, 2023 and May 31, 2024 which do not require final payment at time of booking. Remaining balance will be due at time of final payment. This offer excludes Disney Wonder sailings between October 3, 2023 through March 1, 2024.

Disney Cruise Line Brings Holiday Cheer to Foster Children in The Bahamas


It’s the season of giving, and Disney Cruise Linecrew members came together to give back to one of Disney Cruise Line’s port communities in a very special way.

While the Disney Wish was in port, crew members traveled to the Ranfurly Homes for Children in Nassau to visit with the kids and bring holiday cheer. The Ranfurly Homes for Children is a local non-profit foster care organization that provides comprehensive childcare services for displaced children in The Bahamas. Disney Cruise Line crew members spent the day with the children creating holiday ornaments, delivering gifts and surprising the kids with a special visit from Captain Mickey Mouse.

“Captain Mickey walking in for them was the best gift that we could have given them today,” said Zarah, a Youth Activities Manager aboard the Disney Wish. “They enjoyed the presents and crafts, but seeing Captain Mickey and hugging him – they loved it,” she added.

Among the crew members who visited the Ranfurly Homes for Children were LJM Maritime Academy Cadets Christina Adderley, from Eleuthera, and Emily Bain and Summer Lightbourn, from New Providence. In 2019, they were awarded a Disney Cruise Line maritime scholarship, which included two years of study at LJM Maritime Academy in Nassau and one year of service aboard Disney ships. The maritime scholarship program is part of a larger collection of initiatives Disney Cruise Line has implemented to inspire future maritime professionals and support communities across The Bahamas.

“It’s heartwarming to see the impact Disney is making here in my community of Nassau,” said Summer. “The Disney Cruise Line team made so many children smile today. This was an experience I will never forget,” Summer added.

Also joining the team of Disney Cruise Line volunteers was Captain Marco of the Disney Wish. He shared what this experience meant to him. “I feel very proud to be a member of the Disney Cruise Line team. We sail to and from The Bahamas several times a week with our crew members and our guests, so it’s important to us to give back and be part of this beautiful community.”

In addition to visiting with the children, Disney Cruise Line also donated $25,000 to the Ranfurly Homes for Children and gifted each child a tablet device and Bluetooth headphones.

I'm one to get sick almost everytime I go to Disney for a week or more. I feel for you! Was just there last week and noticed so many adults and children coughing without even trying to muffle those coughs in their sleeves. So disgusting! I'm pretty sure the only reason I didn't get sick this trip is I wore a mask when inside and when in crowded areas outside. Believe me I disliked having to wear one. Such a pain, but I'm sick and tired of getting sick the last few days of my trips. I'm spending way too much money to be sick in my room, so I'm stuck with masking unfortunately. Hate it!!

One thing I do it take Zing and Vitamin C every day for a a week before, during, and a week after my vists. So far, so good.

American Adventure Reopening Delayed Until Monday December 19 at EPCOT

The American Adventure Reopening Delayed Again at EPCOT

The original reopening date was supposed to be December 18, with showtimes listed on the Walt Disney World website, but those times disappeared, and the reopening date was changed to December 19. Today The American Adventure remains closed and the official website has been updated to say, “The American Adventure is currently closed for refurbishment. Please check back here for updates.” So far, no new times have been listed on the site, which currently goes into February. However, we have heard from our sources that the show will reopen on December 23.

It's a good idea but I don't think Disney will ever do it. They really don't care who is buying all of their merch. They only care about the money they make from those merch sales. From what I've read from locals, TDL had a HUGE reseller problem which is what prompted this response.
