Then they need to learn to use a comma because i thought "park experiences" was one thing. Not parks, experiences, AND products which changes the whole meaning of the sentence.
Here you go, from the D23 app - “Disney Parks, Experiences and Products Chairman Josh D’Amaro” - but I agree that the comma was missing from the heading.

And to poke the hornets' nest ... from the article:

"Our ticket prices and constraints we put on how often people can come and when they come is a direct reflection of demand. When is it too much? Demand will tell us when it’s too much.”

Whether we like it or not, if the crowds keep coming, prices will keep going up. Look at how the Halloween parties are selling out!

Does anyone know what this means?

Will this affect the 50th anniversary outfits being worn at WDW through March (and other special 50th items)?? Is it geared more towards California or for later in the year?

Just come back from a week in WDW. Considering it was your version of a bank holiday weekend, the park wasn't as busy as i thought it would be with quite short standby waits for rides, the MNSSHP i attended was sold out but manageable. Isn't there an offer over the xmas period for D+ subscribers for money off hotel rooms? I would of thought they would give nothing away so to speak over the Christmas period. I think the recession may start to bite soon and some demand may drop off.

They could wear these new outfits at red carpet dreams in HS for M&G's until after the 50th is over?

"...annual pass as a value was so great that people were literally coming all the time and the accessibility of the park was unlimited to them and that family from Denver would get to the park and not be let in."

He also said the above, but did that ever actually happen? Very rarely did the parks close to capacity, and I feel like the days where that was a risk were pretty well-known. I'm just not sure this was a real problem, at least not to the extent that Chapek is implying.

Yeah, other than major holidays, this wasn't an issue until Disney started requiring reservations and artificially reducing capacity.

I'm sure capacity reductions were necessary in earlier pandemic phases, with distancing and staffing, but they're continuing to manipulate availability to sometimes baffling results. Those "sold out" MK party days where the park ended up 1/10, all walk ons, being a perfect example.

They create the problem and then they "fix" it by taking away APs. Booooo!

Yep, I was just telling someone else that I'm part of the problem, I keep going even as I complain about the cost of everything continuing to increase, and more perks being taken away. Disney is in my DNA, I'll keep going so long as I can afford it, I love the parks, they bring me joy.
