Of all the things Disney has changed, the one attraction I am surprised hasn't made 2 important tweaks is the Haunted Mansion. The hanging body in the stretching room ceiling, and the super skinny caretakers dog.

I'm really hoping this means that a Dinoland retheme will be coming soon. That area was a ghost town the last time I went to AK - everyone was walking through to get to Dinosaur and that was about it. Though unless I'm missing something, what rides/shows at AK are "insensitive"?

Probably "It's Tough to Be a Bug" could be on the chopping block as well. It's like a worse version of Muppetvision 3-D.

This is worded really oddly. I don’t think the emphasis is on naming insensitive attractions. “Insensitive” was just one option out of like 7 possible answers to a survey question. This doesn’t have anything to do with identifying insensitive attractions. As the rest of the article mentions, it is more about understanding the current sentiment of AK park.

Sometimes these are routine surveys done periodically to try and stay on top of guest opinions. I wouldn’t read too much into it.

With that said… can we please fix dinoland?!?! Lol

That's what I think too now that I've had some time to think about it. It's a weird headline. I think if anything, I could see Disney changing the stretching room in Haunted Mansion or the Native Americans in Peter Pan's Flight next judging from the previous changes they've made.

Our server described this to us as a sort of secret menu offering, but really it’s just off of the appetizers menu from Tiffins. The Land Salad features a rotating weekly harvest of young lettuces and vegetables from The Land Pavilion at EPCOT!

Exactly. It's a haunted house - it's supposed to be that way! The entire theme is death - even if it is presented in a fun way.

As for the dog, my buddy's dog is a mix with an Italian Greyhound and he's super-skinny, but also very healthy for his type, but also, it's not a real dog, but a caricature of one.

It's not, but a survey has to include all options for all attractions for completeness. I don't expect much to come out of this, at least as far as insensitivity complaints go (as for complaints about attractions being dated or boring? they'll probably get some responses there). Baffled that WDWNT didn't include a screencap of the actual survey.

MagicBand+ Setup Guide

Ahead of the release of MagicBand+ on July 27th, Disney has posted a MagicBand+ setup guide for guests purchasing the new wearable. Here’s the MagicBand+ setup guide:

• Step 1 – Power your band on by pressing the button on the back once, and tap the band to your phone.

• Step 2 – You will be directed to open or download the My Disney Experience app.
• Step 3 – Follow the instructions in the app to link the MagicBand+ to your Disney account, assign it to a Guest and pair it to your mobile device. Then, use the app to make sure your band is charged and the software is up to date.

• Step 4 – Be sure to link your park tickets, reservations and more.
