Disneyland Paris Expects Avengers Campus to Close for Capacity Regularly​

With Avengers Campus set to open on July 20 at Walt Disney Studios Park in Paris, Disneyland Paris is taking measures to ensure the most guests can enjoy the land possible, including keeping it open later than the rest of the park. But they still expect the place to be jam-packed, with capacity closures likely to occur almost daily.

We found a sign ready to be deployed at the land’s entrance with wording in both English and French to inform guests that the land is full. No mitigation or queuing methods have been announced for guests who wish to enter once the land has filled to capacity.

“Andor” to Release First Two Episodes on Disney+ Premiere Date​

The next chapter in the Star Wars universe is premiering on August 31…and we’ve got some great news for Disney+ subscribers! The series was originally announced as following a weekly release schedule. Star Wars (and all Disney+) fans love to binge, so the creators are giving us a little something extra to look forward to.

Disneyland Paris Cutting Holes in Garden Hoses on Main Street to Combat Extreme Heat​

With record-breaking heat hitting France this week, Disneyland Paris is combatting the temperature by poking holes in garden hoses and letting them spray guests on Main Street, U.S.A.

Another Permit Filed for Retheming of Tomorrowland Light & Power Co. Space Mountain Gift Shop

Disney has recently filed a permit for “General Construction” on the Tomorrowland Light & Power Co. gift shop that guests exit through after riding Space Mountain. Typically, a general construction permit wouldn’t signal any particular work (the goal of a vague permit), but the contractor here is MLC Theming. MLC Theming has done a lot of work for Disney in the past when it comes to facade and attraction theming work.

Disney has been working on modifying the facade in recent months and the work will likely be done around the time that work on the TRON Lightcycle Run attraction is completed.

New Look at MagicBand+ Debuting at Walt Disney World This Summer​

Walt Disney World has released new images of MagicBand+ in action and confirmed the bands will debut this summer.

In this image, guests use MagicBand+ to interact with a Disney Fab 50 statue as part of the “Disney Fab 50 Quest.” The guest is wearing a Stitch themed MagicBand+, and instead of a Mickey icon, the center is blue with “‘Ohana means family” written in white.

This image shows the bands glowing along with “Disney Enchantment” at Magic Kingdom. The bands will interact with and complement nighttime spectaculars.

This image shows guests playing the Batuu Bounty Hunters game in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Read more about the game, which will debut with the bands this year.

One of the MagicBand+ designs is white with minimalist images of the theme park icons. The center park reads “Walt Disney World” instead of featuring Mickey Mouse.

This EARidescent MagicBand+ features the Walt Disney World 50th anniversary colors. The silhouette of the Partners Statue is on the center puck.

Matterhorn Bobsleds to Close for Refurbishment on August 8

The Matterhorn Bobsleds will be closing for refurbishment on August 8th, and there is no reopening date listed on the Disneyland website.
