Characters Roaming Freely Again Within Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disney’s Hollywood Studios

Characters are, once again, roaming at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge in Disney’s Hollywood Studios. This marks the first time since March 2020 that guests have been able to give Chewbacca a hug or been told to move out of the way by a Stormtrooper.

Dang it - I missed this paragraph "* Disney vacations are eligible to be booked 500 days from check in, meaning starting June 8th you can book 2023 vacations through 10/21/23 and then that date is extended every day by one day. " So, I couldn't book yet. Waiting for December. 🥴
Well, that’s annoying. I have 3 trips I’m wanting to book, but I can only get 2 right now, and the third will have to wait 2 weeks 🙄

Disney World Makes “120-Minute Rule” Official for Disney Genie+, Clearly States Rules for Use

Disney has made the “120-minute rule” official. We’ve discussed the 120-minute rule extensively in our reports from using the Disney Genie+ service, but this is the first time that we’re aware that Disney is formally acknowledging the rule as part of the Disney Genie+ service.

In addition to the 120-minute rule being formally acknowledged, Disney is now clearly stating the “rules” for using the Disney Genie+ service. It’s worth noting that the “rules” haven’t changed, they’ve just been more clearly communicated by Disney.

A NEW dessert is now in Disney World in honor of Pixar’s Lightyear! Over at Swirls on the Water in Disney Springs, you can find the Lightyear Cone from now until June 30th. This is a purple cheesecake soft-serve with a green cone and some Buzz Lightyear wings attached!

I have to laugh at myself. I was thinking how is this at all buzz light year just because of the coloring? For some reason the wing blended into the background and I thought it was just purple ice cream lol.

I'm interested in seeing how this will play out in Paris (as in whether people will buy it or if it will sell out). Paris was the first to get a Lightning Lane type system so if this is successful there's a chance this could potentially come to the US parks.
