Loved Obi-Wan. Think a certain someone was casting perfection and another character was terribly miscast (both prominent).

Just finished watching ... we've got another 'Grogu'! Really enjoying the series but I think it may play better when binged as it's a slow burn so far. Don't know if we're in agreement in the miscast, but I'm not feeling a certain 'grand' character who I thought would have been a great fit

Motion sickness bags now being offered to riders at Disney's Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic Rewind rollercoaster

Motion sickness at Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic Rewind appears to be a more widespread problem than first thought.

I’m a little surprised… I had no issues and my girlfriend who sometimes has motion sickness had no issues. She didn’t even realized that it rotated until I told her after the ride.

She also doesn’t like rollercoasters and it’s now her favorite ride at Disney World.

Doesn’t this mess with the timeline of BSO though?

Well, only if those characters don't survive that far. It's only 25 years timeline wise from the time of Mando/Boba to the Sequel era. Boba'd be pretty old though and one might expect Grogu to mature more. FEnnic is a robot though, and Dinn doens't come off as too old, so.... Of course, should any of them die in their series, then no. Personally, I don't think the timeline is all that important and they may have leaned into it too much.

Also, Rivers of LIght is missed by my entire family. It was our favorite nighttime show.
dying to know who you thought was miscast... I enjoyed the opening and all the actors, but then again I am not much of an "analytical' watcher... I just watch, and i can't wait for the next episodes... only 4 more.

No Cast Member Discount Available on Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind Merchandise

There is no Cast Member discount available on the new Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind merchandise. Guest discounts, such as the Annual Passholder discount, are available on the merch.

Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind opened yesterday with a plethora of new merchandise. Unfortunately, Cast Members do not get their standard 20% off — at least for now. It’s possible that after the hype has gone down, Cast Members will get their discount on the merchandise.

Not exactly news, but with Star Wars Celebration going on (with constant news coming out), various guests have been posting on Twitter and Instagram. Just had to re-post one of Giancarlo Esposito's more popular tweets ... although I can't get Gus Fring out of my mind thanks to recent Better Call Saul eps

Disney to Abandon Strict Timeline of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, Will Introduce New and Legacy Characters

Disney has announced that “legacy characters and original characters” will soon inhabit Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, essentially abandoning the strict timeline that the land sits in. When it first debuted, Imagineers said that the timeline of the land sits between Episode 8 and 9, but now Disney appears to be wanting to shift it to be more of a stage than a specific place set in a specific time.

Starting today, Boba Fett and Fennec Shand will debut in Galaxy’s Edge at Disneyland. Din Djarin, known as the Mandalorian, and Grogu, the child who found protection with Mando, also will journey to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disneyland park at a later date.

Disney has said that while guests will soon experience characters and stories from the thousands of years of Batuu’s history, they’ll make sure that characters won’t interact with other characters that they shouldn’t be.
We are committed to the long history of Batuu and the collection of amazing characters who inhabit the outpost including our legacy characters and original characters and know that we will feel the same about new and future characters from the ever-expanding galaxy of Star Wars storytelling. While we as visitors may be able to experience different stories throughout Star Wars history, the characters on Batuu can not. They will remain in their specific story and timeline and won’t intersect with other characters or stories that would not be appropriate for them.
Scott Trowbridge, Imagineer

This shift will take away the timeline of the land while still ensuring character integrity. It’s a savvy way for Disney to start to free up their options and introduce the latest characters from Disney+ shows.
