Germany Pavilion Model Train Tunnels Being Refurbished at EPCOT

The Germany Pavilion model train at EPCOT is not operating while two tunnels are refurbished. There are large green scrim boxes against the railing and smaller pieces of scrim over the tunnel entrances.

This was in place last week when we were there and there were 2 trains operating. I know because my two year old stood there for an hour and watched them. But the majority of them are not, and none of the cool ones that go around a wider space are working.

We were bummed but he still seemed thrilled!

New Plot Details Revealed for ‘Andor,’ Scheduled to Air in Late Summer 2022

The cover story of the June 2022 issue of Vanity Fair is all about the “Star Wars” shows of Disney+, including “Andor” starring Diego Luna reprising his role of Cassian Andor in “Rogue One.” According to Luna, “Andor” is the “journey of a migrant.”

Mon Mothma and Cassian Andor

A premiere date has not been announced for “Andor,” but the prequel series has already been renewed for a second season. According to Vanity Fair, it will premiere in late summer of this year.

Changes Coming to DCL’s Pre-Sailing COVID Testing Requirements Starting 6/7

Disney Cruise Line’s COVID testing procedures are changing beginning with sailings embarking on June 7th, 2022 from U.S. or Canadian ports. If you have a cruise on the books in the near future, let’s take a few moments and review what’ll be the norm moving forward.

First, as is the case now, all guests must be fully vaccinated to sail unless they aren’t eligible for a vaccine (age 4 and under). Also, guests must continue creating an account on Safe Passage prior to sailing. Starting with June 7th voyages, in large part, COVID testing at Disney Cruise Line’s terminal in Port Canaveral will no longer be offered. Guests will now be required to obtain a negative COVID test (NAAT test, rapid PCR test, a professionally-observed rapid antigen test, or lab-based PCR test) at their own cost no more than 2 days prior to sailing and upload those results to Safe Passage by midnight the night before embarkation. Guests who do not do so will be tested at the port at their own expense.

Does that mean we can use our own tests or do we have to find a place to get tested? Trying to get to the details but that website didn't really provide a good link.

From what I can tell, it can basically be anything EXCEPT a rapid home test. It has to be something you can't cheat. So it can be any test at your local pharmacy or health department that is done by a professional. Or it can be a rapid home test only if done under medical supervision (these are about $30 each). I did see that health insurance supposedly pays at least $12 on those home supervised tests, so I think we may go that route.

We'll be at univeral the days before our cruise, so I need to figure out how to schedule a test into that time.

You might be best off ordering the ones in the mail that you can do via zoom with the medical professional. That's what my mom does for her Carnival cruises. She orders them a month in advance and then the week before schedules the time for the zoom call. So you might be able to schedule it for early in the morning before you head into the parks?

Rosario Dawson, Pedro Pascal, Ewan McGregor, and Diego Luna Featured on Cover of ‘Star Wars’ Vanity Fair Issue

Rosario Dawson, Pedro Pascal, Ewan McGregor, and Diego Luna — photographed by the acclaimed Annie Leibovitz — grace the cover of the June 2022 issue of Vanity Fair all about the current and upcoming Disney+ “Star Wars” shows.

The Vanity Fair cover story is a great (and long) read for Star Wars fans:

The Rebellion Will Be Televised

Towards the end there is some more discussion on 'The Acolyte' series as well as the 1st I've heard of another new series:

Another new series on the horizon doesn’t even have a title, just a code name: Grammar Rodeo, a reference to an episode of The Simpsons in which Bart and his schoolmates steal a car and run away for a week, using a phony educational event as an alibi. The show takes place during the post–Return of the Jedi reconstruction that follows the fall of the Empire, the same as The Mandalorian, but its plot remains a secret. It’s created and executive-produced by director Jon Watts and writer Chris Ford, who made Spider-Man: Homecoming for Marvel. A casting notice has called for four children, around 11 to 12 years old. Inside Lucasfilm, the show is being described as a galactic version of classic Amblin coming-of-age adventure films of the ’80s.

"Grammar rodeo? We're going to a grammar rodeo?"

"I haven't heard about any grammar rodeo."
"That's because you are, as we say in Latin, a Dorkus Malorkus."

"Why would they hold our national grammar rodeo in another nation?"

Great Episode!

Would you mind posting a link? We'll be at DW before our cruise as well so this might be the solution for us too!
