WOOF. Yeah that's a TINY hotel. I really think Disney misread the tea leaves on this attraction.

I think a 4 hour or 6 hour "experience" that could be booked like tours would be more popular, and would allow them, to create a few different ones with different focused themes. Then they's still get the park admission fees as well.

Very rarely does minor things like this bother me. I have to say I was a huge fan of the purple motif. They were unique to say the least but I can see why they went blue as they are a little easier to read maybe?
We drove by the new signs and actually found that they blended in way more to the surroundings and were not as easy to read. We definitely like the old color scheme as it’s much more lively.

Does anyone have much experience with what "limited time" means at Disneyland? I see that the MSEP is returning for a limited time. At Disney World that usually ends up being a pretty long time but I have to imagine it's different for Disneyland.

I'm really conflicted about the Star Wars hotel. On the one hand it's an expensive experience that I personally don't think I would enjoy enough. On the other, it's the kind of unique, highly themed attraction that I want Disney to take risks on.

Disneyland Resort Unveils Return Dates for Nighttime Spectaculars and New Finale Coming to the ‘Main Street Electrical Parade’

On April 22, 2022, the “Main Street Electrical Parade” and “Disneyland Forever” fireworks spectacular will return to Disneyland park, and “World of Color” will return to Disney California Adventure park. “Fantasmic!” is preparing for its return to Disneyland park on May 28, 2022.

Upon its return to Disneyland park, the “Main Street Electrical Parade” will be celebrating its 50th anniversary. In honor of this milestone, the Disney Live Entertainment team will introduce exciting new elements to the “Main Street Electrical Parade” that will continue to evolve this beloved spectacular.

As the new grand finale passes by, guests along each side of the parade route will see a different set of stylized scenes from classic and contemporary favorite stories such as “Encanto,” “The Jungle Book,” “Raya and the Last Dragon,” “Aladdin,” “Coco,” “Mulan,” “Brave,” “The Princess and the Frog” and more. Check out one of the early pieces of concept art, featuring Mirabel and Antonio from Walt Disney Animation Studios’ Academy Award-nominated film, “Encanto.”

This is wonderful news! Now give WDW a nighttime parade again....

I think the idea is there they just didn't think big enough. It should have been more adaptable to other themes. Princess weekend, marvel, pixar etc. They have days at sea that are popular so bring that to this and it would have been easier to fill long term as they rotate.

There's so many options. Villains, haunted mansion, pirates etc.

They way the hotel was designed and decorated doesn't lend itself to being anything other than star wars without a refurb. Will be interesting to see what happens long term.

They've brought "Disneyland Forever" back for a "limited time" off and on for about a decade lol

I was incredibly excited about it until the costs were revealed. I’m a huge SW and Disney fan but I can’t justify the cost for 2 days with a family of 6.
This gets me too, it's really expensive for families and yet everything in it seems to be geared towards kids activities so it might not be that fun for an only adults trip. I don't know, we shall see.

It could be a few months or a year. Last time they brought it back, I thought it was for 3-6 months. It was last brought back just after the opening of Galaxy's Edge.

I would totally agree with you.

Personally, I love Star Wars, but I have no interest in being locked-in to a mostly-indoor, structured, slightly-claustrophobic experience for 2 days straight. Had it been for a few hours instead of 2 days, I would have been all over it. And that's not even considering the price...

Following up on yesterday’s post..

Complimentary Annual Passholder magnets coming to Disney Springs at Walt Disney World

E91FC697-F41E-465C-BB8F-87F50FAB5815.jpeg

Beginning March 2 2022, Passholders will be able to sign-up for the Virtual Queue on the My Disney Experience app for a one-hour arrival window at Disney's Wonderful World of Memories to pickup the magnet.

The virtual queue opens at 9am each day through March 30 2022, and there is a limit of one magnet per Passholder.

In addition to the magnets, there will also be exclusive offerings at The Ganachery and Jock Lindsey's Hangar Bar. The Ganachery will be selling a Passholder Chocolate Covered Strawberry Marshmallows gift box, and the Hanger Bar will serving The 1st Class Ticket via a hidden menu,

I predict that this never really gains momentum and Disney changes it into a Deluxe resort in 1-2 years. I just don't see the demand for this experience, even among die-hard fans.
The Site Which Must Not Be Named had a blurb in a recent video that Disney was asking upcoming guests how committed they were to actually GOING on the Starcruiser.
