The alternative airlines are charging insane amounts right now ($550+-$1500+ per ticket) and they all have stops. Originally we booked RT no stop flights, now we've booked a free cancellation rental car to drive the 17+ hour drive back in case no new flight shows up. I have to balance risking DD melting down from to many transitions or wrestling with her car sickness, 2+ hours on the phone with SW was of no help. First vacation since 2017 and everything's going to pot, at least there's a great big beautiful tomorrow right?
Yeah, it's getting nuts. Getting the rental is a good idea. We have ended up driving home due to flights/other issues from Orlando twice in the last 2 years. It's a 16 hour drive :( Luckily, we already had a rental and just told them we were taking it home. It was expensive though. Due to a cancelled flight, DH and DS got a flight to Tampa and had to drive to/from Orlando, which wasn't too bad. You might look at that option if you haven't already.

They're really bigging up the bar aren't they? As a non-drinker, looking at these photos it seems that the only thing for adults to do is drink or supervise kids shooting things from the flight deck
I'm sure there will be non-alcoholic drinks

Call them!! I did not get the Tinker Bell magnet, called to let them know, and they sent one right out!

Unless you live outside the US, in which case they claim they’re not allowed to mail magnets to Canada. No idea why not, but that’s their party line anytime you ask.

True, and I'll never be able to afford to go here in anyway. But if I could, it seems that the only place you can go outside of your "itinerary" on this "cruise" is your room, the lobby and the bar

Sure but I would think ppl would want to follow the itinerary, otherwise why would they pay so much $$$ just to not do the exclusive activities?? That's my opinion anyways.

Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser Deck Map Floorplans

Ahead of the debut of the Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser immersive hotel at Walt Disney World, we have a look at the “Deck Maps” floorplan layout of the Starcruiser.

Starcruiser Atrium Deck Map Floorplan

The atrium, or lobby, of the Starcruiser is the main floor that guests first arrive on the ship from via the Launch Pod Dock. The Chandrila Collection is the onboard gift shop and is located off of the main atrium. The bridge is where guests will do battle on behalf of the ship. The sublight lounge is what it sounds like, the onboard bar/lounge area.

Starcrusier Dining Deck Map Floorplan
Below the main atrium is the dining room floor on deck 4. This is technically the ground level of the building, which will lead to the Batuu transport “ship” as well as some of the immersive experiences such as lightsaber training and special mission areas like the engineering room and cargo hold.

And that’s pretty much it. The other “decks” are the aft area of the ship where guests will be sleeping in one of 100 rooms.
