Why? They put Tommy and Pam on D+.

Yep, but not in the US. It's on Hulu for the US. This is a whole other interesting discussion that will get more attention for Disney as time goes on. For now Disney has hinted that all PG-13+ stuff will end up on Hulu in the US.

In the end, I personally feel Disney needs to add a mature section to D+ that can be controlled by the account access. Films like Deadpool and Logan should be in the Marvel section of D+ since the Fox acquisition, but similar Tommy and Pam they are Hulu for the US ... yet on D+ for other countries.

Disney is worried about their family reputation in the US (I've heard streaming rights excuses that don't make sense) but still needs to figure out what to do with the D+ / Hulu situation.

You may actually want to schedule MK for that day! Take a look at the wait times on the reduced hours days vs. those before/after and then decide. You have less time in the park, but most rides are reported as walk-ons nearly all day!

Example:
i get that but i like being in the parks late and i dont like park hopping so would just feel like a waste of a day to me if i have to leave a park around 4:30 :)

Yes, we saw that on thrill data while were there and were bummed we planned it wrong that day.

That's literally what we have in the UK. We have a section called Star that is 13+, that you have to make a user 18+ (not sire of the exact age) to access it. My DDs have their own user separate to mine as mine has Star content (like Walking Dead, Only Murders in the Building) and theirs does not

I'm there on the 3rd as well. I'm seriously considering swapping my park passes. Currently I have MK scheduled for the 2nd but since I have a second day in MK this is looking very appealing

Magic Kingdom likely to close early on two dates in May as Cast Member Service Celebrations are rescheduled

The 2020 Service Celebration will take place on Tuesday May 3 2022, and the 2021 Service Celebration will take place on May 15 2022. Magic Kingdom park hours are not yet available for those dates, but expect a 4:30pm close for day guests on both dates.
I'm kind of surprised they are using a Sunday for the May 15 celebration when all the others have been during the week. I'm hoping it's a typo since it doesn't specifically say Sunday May 15...not a big deal for me but that's the day my brother's family has planned for MK and they usually don't get to the parks until noon. 4.5 hours just doesn't seem to be enough time. Hoping to see these dates confirmed elsewhere before advising him to switch his days.

Oof, we're gonna be there the 19-21 for the wife's birthday. Why did she have to be born on a Holiday weekend 🤣
