Imagineering Ride Team Enters Next Phase for TRON Lightcycle / Run

As we begin the next phase of ride testing, we’ll soon start a process known as “push/pull,” where sections of the seven-vehicle train are slowly moved through the entire ride track. Once the track is completely ready, trains will begin launch tests at incremental speeds, with the team eventually working their way up to full-speed launches.

All of this exciting progress will be visible to our guests in Tomorrowland at Magic Kingdom Park as trains make their way out of the launch zone and underneath the attraction’s iconic canopy.

Water Outage to Impact Select Areas of Disney's Wilderness Lodge Today

Disney's Wilderness Lodge will be experiencing a complete water outage today from approximately 10:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. This water outage will impact several rooms on the 5th and 7th floor, as well as the following common areas:

• Restrooms near Roaring Fork (the restrooms near Territory Lounge and Whispering Canyon will be available);
• Wilderness Lodge Guest Laundry (the Copper Creek laundry will be available);
• Club Level Service (Guests will still have access to a selection of beverages during the snack period)

It is an attraction, though. They never called it a ride. The Mary Poppins announcement was for an attraction, too, didn't specify ride.

Oh I know they never called Enchanted Tales a ride. That was my own fault. Brutal though. Will never forget continuously waiting for the ride to go up to to the castle. Kept thinking it was going to happen. Then we left after the "show" was done. Back outside. No ride. We were the only group in there with no kids. Lol, what a disaster that was.

EPCOT Experience in the Odyssey pavilion will close on March 14th



Walt Disney Imagineer Zach Riddleyhas just announced that the EPCOT Experience in the Odyssey pavilion will be closing on March 14th, 2022.

Here are the details:

Since its 2019 debut, Walt Disney Imagineering presents the EPCOT Experience has welcomed more than two million guests, as travelers from around the world enjoyed an immersive look at the past, present, and future of this beloved park. This attraction gave our team a chance to share a first-person view of the vision coming to life during this ongoing “state of becoming.” It’s a rare moment to see these milestones unfold, and we’ve been inspired and deeply grateful to have this opportunity to pull back the curtain on our thinking.

With the transformation now well underway and many of those projects now open – including Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure, Harmonious and the upcoming debut of Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind this summer – we have decided it is time to close the EPCOT Experience on March 14th and make way for exciting new activations of the Odyssey pavilion to create a great experience for our guests.

Do you mean the exhibition hall - the one you walk past Joffrey’s to get to? If so, no, it is not open.

no the 2021 F&G was I think the last time it was open as it was used to house some overflow food booths when physical distancing is happening.....
I don't know if this years festival had upcharge seminars as if so they might be housed in that building

It was a great place to run into last April during a torrential rain storm...I’d never seen so much lightening and flooding and there was plenty of space for people to spread out and be able to get drinks and snacks while waiting out the storm. Ponchos and umbrellas were of no use that day. Sorry it won’t be available this year.
