Has it been said that Guardians will use a soundtrack similar to the films? I don't know why but I just watched one and thought man this music would be awesome on the ride. I'm a BIG fan of the blaring music on RRC so this would be so cool to me! I love the Guardians soudtrack

Yep, it was confirmed a while back that Cosmic Rewind with will have James Gunn's signature soundtrack ... probably nothing new but taken from Vol 1 and 2 (possibly vol3 ?) Although there is a chance Gunn handpicks some new stuff from Quill's Zune for this attraction. Gunn's hinted in interviews that he keeps a long running list of songs for that he likes to work into his various projects.

Character meet and greets drop physical distancing at Disneyland Paris - Walt Disney World next?

Character meet and greets are back to normal at Disneyland Paris, with all physical distancing protocols eliminated. As of this morning, guests are able to hug the characters and get autographs - all without distancing measures.

Notably, Star Wars Galactic Starcruiser is not using any distancing measures, with guests able to freely interact with the characters aboard the Halcyon.

It would seem likely that based on these recent changes we will also see Walt Disney World's meet and greets return to normal operations in the very near future.
It will be charged for I bet.

I find it a bit strange that on the big DLP fansites it is almost glanced over. This is a huge change and they barely mention it.

Also I only see fur characters in the video (skipped through it). Just checked the DLP fansites, there is no news yet about the indoor princess and Mickey meet and greets

They don't have that many m&g there. Yes they have lines but it didn't seem as big of a deal there as it is here.

Did I miss where it's reported the Rainbow Connection is going away? I just assumed Colors of the Wind would be added to the cycle.

I'd love that, but I assumed it wouldn't be as I thought that was just for the Arts Festival?

There are more pop up M&G's at DLP in comparison to all the scheduled M&Gs at WDW.
But characters are a big deal to a large group of AP holders. The AP holder character soiree with 100 rare(-ish) characters was chaos with almost people fighting to get in line. ;-) When we got the Cheshire Cat and Edgar (Aristocats) here a few years ago for the Halloween season there was a stir.
It's not the 8-hour mania WDW saw when Frozen started, but it's quite a thing here.

Disney Cruise Line updates Face Mask Policy Starting on March 11th

Following recently updated guidance from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, we have updated our face-covering requirements for sailings originating from a U.S. port of departure. Beginning March 11, face coverings on Disney Cruise Line will become optional in most indoor locations throughout our ships.

Guests ages 2 and up, including those who are fully vaccinated against COVID-19, will still be required to wear face coverings in the Walt Disney Theatre. Guests under 5 years of age who are currently ineligible to be vaccinated will be required to wear face coverings in Youth Activities spaces and in the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique; and, while not required, we continue to strongly recommend these Guests wear a face-covering in all other indoor locations.

I wasn't referring to popup one's or special events. Some of the popup had no structure and if you didn't just go for it you'd be standing there watching the entire time.

I'm talking about one's with a set location with lines. The three we planned and waited for were our longest waits of the trip. But even back then there wasn't much info from the bloggers about meets.

Just to clarify, DLP's meet and greets are only back for "Masked" characters (Sulley, Donald, Stitch etc.) Face characters (like the Princesses) are still socially distanced at DLP

I also think that after Starcruiser, they are doing face-to-face interactions, so those kind of meet and greets are technically behind a paywall at WDW at the moment 😂

Long time ago?

Long time ago?
I went in 2018 at Halloween and waited over an hour for one meet and greet with Jack Skellington, but 10 minutes for Jafar. At DLP, you really have to plan the meet and greets and the most popular ones you need to get there at the start of the meet and greet times. I'm not sure if Lineberty still works (It's been a while since I've been) but it was nearly impossible to get a slot for those characters 😀

Long time ago?

2018 was a long time ago at this point. Doesn't change anything. I still follow dip town square and dip on twitter etc. Wdw/dlr and bloggers I follow for them cover m&g more.

They may be big for APs but they don't come across as popular. And if they were to me there would be more planned meets or the ones they have would be open longer so more people can do them.

On an average day the past few years there are now about 7-8 scheduled meets at Disneyland Park, and I say by heart 3-4 scheduled in the Studios.
If you ever come back I would suggest to follow ED92 (mainly French) and Pixiedust.be (Dutch/English) on social media, mainly social media. Especially ED92, they have daily reporters in the park and they cover quite often the characters.
