We will be in Disney from Dec. 18-27. We have been twice before but I am wondering if there are any must see or do tips specific to the holiday season. Trying to gather as much info now so I can make my ADR soon!!!

Visiting fort wilderness during the holiday is a must for us! The decorations are so fun! Maybe catch dinner at hoopty doo or trails end and head over for the s'mores and singalong after, then head to the marina for fireworks!

We were there during the holiday season a couple years ago. Pictures are in link in my siggy.

For Fort Wilderness, I loved seeing how people decorated their cabins and golf carts.

At each park there is a Christmas tree with the theme of the park. Make sure you see all of those and get pix!

The Osborne Lights at Hollywood Studios was AMAZING!!!! Again, see my pix!

The Christmas parade (extra $$) was OK. I didn't love it but I'm not a huge parade person to begin with. See pix!

I feel like there was a special thing with the Castle in MK at night. I can't remember if that was part of the Christmas parade or not. They projected all kinds of different images on it and it was amazing (pix below!)!!! I don't remember that from the first time we went in August. Maybe someone can correct me..

Oh, and there is a gingerbread house display in the Grand Floridian I think. That was cool too. I'm sure seeing the decorations at all of the different resorts would be fun.

Thankyou! You're pics were amazing! Makes me even more excited to go now:)

We are going to Disney World in November (the 12th through the 20th) and I was wondering if everything will be decorated for Christmas while we are there. I know that the MVMCP is going on while we are there so the Magic Kingdom will be decorated but what about the other parks and resorts? And those that are staying at the campground?

I love the candle light procession. A beautiful and moving version of the Christmas Story. We also enjoy seeing the resort decorations. The MVMCP is fun if money is not too tight and you kids are not too young. We also like staying at the WL during Christmas.....just a warm/cozy feeling.

Since you will be there during Christmas week, the parade and stuff at MK will not be extra $$. They don't have MVMCP after like the 20th or 21st, just do all the Christmas stuff in place of the regular parade/fireworks/etc. So don't pay for it the first night or two you are there.

The Osborne Lights are great, as PPs have said. Also be sure to check out all the deluxe resort decorations - you can find characters dressed in Christmas attire and Santa Claus at some of them too.
