I know that on the ship any Disney Movies that is coming in theaters will PremEar on the ship. Does anyone know if it is the same for any made for TV Movies that premier on the Disney Channel?

Cheetah Girls 3 will be showing on the Disney Channel in August and was wondering if they will be showing it on the ship too

The Disney Channel is available on stateroom TVs, so it will be showing there if nowhere else. They sometimes show the made-for-TV movies on the big screen by the Goofy pool on Deck 9; HSM2 played a few times last week, for example. I'm not sure if they would do that for a PremEar, however. I haven't seen the made-for-TV movies showing in one of the actual theaters, but it certainly could have happened at some point.

I think Wall*e Might be PremEaring on the Magic this summer. They loaded this box at PC the morning the Magic left for LA. e got the new Narnia movie on the WB Repo.

But that is just a guess. :confused3

Disney-company films premiere (or, as they call it on DCL prem-"ear") on the ship the same day they are released on land. That means that Wall*E will prem-"ear" on June 27th, its theatrical release date.

Wall-e will indeed premier on the magic at 12:00 am on the 27th. My husband, a Pixar animator, will be on board to provide presentations about Pixar and the making of the film. This is our first cruise. We're excited to be joining you!!

It probably won't be on the big screen but you may be able to see it on your stateroom television.

Do they "prem-ear" the new movies on the Wonder, too? We'll be onboard on the 27th when Wall-E comes out, and would love to see it the first night it's out! :goodvibes

You can call the reservations # 1-800-951-3532. They can give you movie info about 2 wks before your cruise.

Yes, it will be on your sailing. Generally the last 4 or 5 Disney company releases are showing on the Wonder and the last 7 or 8 are showing on the Magic. These can go back up to a year so they won't all be new movies. On your cruise I'd expect to see Wall*E, Narnia, College Road Trip, Enchanted and National Treasure 2.

National Treasure 2 was good. :thumbsup2

Question: these are shown in the theater, right? Not at the goofy pool on deck?

Thanks so much for your response! My girls will be thrilled to see Wall-E on the ship!!!

They are shown in the Buena Vista Theater. The Walt Disney Theater is where they have the stage shows. On the 7-day sailings they show the latest Disney release in the Walt Disney Theater on the one night when no show is scheduled.

The Ariel View screen by the Goofy Pool shows older Disney movies (Finding Nemo, The Little Mermaid, Cars, etc.) along with Disney cartoons and occasional informational videos (Bridge tour, etc.).

My DH is going to be so upset that he will miss the presentation! He is a major computer nerd and huge Pixar fan. We're not sailing until October. Will this be the only special Wall-E event?

Will I have to be on hold when I call that number? I don't have a lot of minutes, and I was wondering if there will be something good showing!

They only show Disney company films so you have to go by the most recent Disney releases. If you're sailing on the Wonder you'll get Prince Caspian, College Road Trip, National Treasure 2 and, probably, Enchanted. Dan in Real Life may also still be showing. After 6/27 Wall*E will be added. The Magic gets a few more since they offer the longer sailings.

If you call the phone number you may end up on hold if there are a lot of other calls at the same time.
