I didn't want to post about this earlier because I wanted to give VMK and Disney time to figure out what happened but it's been over 2 weeks and I can't seem to get ANYONE to help. My Daughter FINALLY earned enough points to get the VMK Theater (500 Movie Reward points) and was so excited! I decided to enter the code on my character and wouldn't you know, I entered the code, it took the code and I never received a pop-up window telling me the code worked AND never received the items. I did try entering the code again and it said it was not a valid code. I am positive the code I entered the first time was correct and again, it took it and didn't give me a message or the items.
So, of course I followed the rules and reported this to VMK and Disney Movie Rewards (DMR). I receive a reply within hours from DMR asking for some additional information (it was not a form letter) which I provided. After about 8 days I contact DMR again and receive a response that they are still waiting to hear back from VMK. By the way SO AM I! I have never received a response from VMK.
It's been 16 days and still nothing. I am an understanding person and I do realize VMK is busy but come on, this is plenty of time to answer e-mail (from Disney Rewards and myself) and determine what happened. I am not trying to 'rip-off' anyone, I would just like the items she earned with the rewards or I would like the points back.
My daughter saved a long time for this and it makes me angry that we haven't even received a response from VMK.
