Disney Movie Club

I just wanted to warn you guys about the Disney Movie Club. My DH signed me up, thinking it would be a good way to collect Disney DVD's. It has been nothing but trouble. They are supposed to send out cards telling you what the feature selection is and if you don't respond, that's what you get, like any movie/music club. The problem is, they don't always send out the cards. I have received three movies that I didn't order, but they won't refund the shipping charges, because they said I didn't respond. Plus I had to pay shipping to send the movies back to them. I also ordered a movie that I never received (but I was charged for). They said there was nothing they could do, that I should check with my post office. That was the last straw; I told them to cancel my membership. They didn't apologize or even try to talk me out of it. They call them Cast Members, but the customer sevice people with the movie club sure don't act like any CM's I've seen.

Sorry for the rant; but I had to get this off my chest and the people at the movie club didn't seem to care.

I'm sorry for your bad experience with that company, Mickey Mouse.

That must have been very frustrating for you. I think it's a good thing you cancelled your membership.

For the most part I haven't had any trouble. I signed up for the mailing notices by email and so far so good for the last 6 mths. All you had to do was contact your CC company and have them deny any charges made by them. If worst comes to worst have your CC number changed.
