Hello, this is the REAL grinningghost interrupting your regulary scheduled thread...

That was my DH who posted Tattoo Man. (He lurks at the DIS sometimes). He was looking for ideas for a new tattoo for himself, and stumbled across this guy.

I don't feel nearly as Disney obsessed after seeing him. I think he'd make a great DISer!

Some highlights from the Disney Tatoo Man:

Some facts about George Reiger's 844 Disney tattoos

Hardest -- Epcot Centre on his upper thigh. It took 14 hours over two sessions.

Tiniest -- A goldfish in the mouth of Monstro the whale from Pinocchio.

Most abstract -- The Tree of Life on his side, which contains more than 100 animals in the brownish bark.

Most common character -- Mickey Mouse, on his own dozens of times and hidden in other images hundreds of times.

Annual redo -- The fireworks surrounding the Disney castle on his back must be re-tattooed each year because they fade after sunburns.

Wanted but didn't get -- Walt Disney portrait, which his tattooist cannot do with any success.

Newest -- Hopper, the villain from A Bug's Life.

I thought it was interesting. What people won't do for their obsessions!

thank you for posting this site....that just shows you how addictive disney really is...i feel normal compared to this guy. but i'd love to have some of his things for the home..how cool !

Oh my god!! I think I saw that guy when I was there. It was so fun to see all those Disney tats.

He has some cool stuff in his house....It's ashame though, he has so much that the really cool stuff is overpowered by everything else.
I like the one set of table and chairs he has....really cool looking. And the Mickey sink....something to think about when we re-do the bathroom!
Oh no, maybe his obsession began this way......

I think his house is cool!!! The tattoos are a little much though. I am in the process of doing my kitchen in Mickey, but I don't think I'll go to that extreme...not much resale value for a house with a Mickey floor in the kitchen!

3. Has been married 6 times. ( 6 honeymoons and one special Walt Disney wedding on September 4, 1998) First 5 wives got tired of the mouse after a few years, but Susan (#6) is just starting out with Disney and it seems that she just loves it. George and Sue have just completed their Disney Dream Home (As of April 1st 2000).

Wowzah! Maybe he is marrying rich chicks and that is where he affords all this stuff! ;p

I'm sure I ran into this guy too at the World of Disney. (Unless it was his twin.) He was wearing a tank top and had tattoos all over him. When I looked closer every one of them was a disney tattoo. Amazing. Makes me want to get a tattoo... Nah...
