Disney Mom's Panel - has anyone ever been on the Disney Mom's Panel?

Has anyone ever been on the Disney Mom's Panel? Is the "compensation" equivalent to a part time job?

Ha! I was just on there, and I was wondering the same thing! I wonder if any DISers are 'Mom's Panel' advisors.

No first hand knowledge, but I remembered reading about the two "Dads" on the Mom's panel and found that article again and this is what it said about compensation:

Alomar’s duties, which began earlier this year, include answering 25 questions a week on the forum. His compensation, like all panelists, is a week’s vacation at a Disney park with his family, but that doesn’t seem to be Alomar’s reason for applying.

Hi there! There are lots of us on the Moms Panel that are also DISers! I joined the panel in 2009 (after making it to the top 24 in 2008) and I love it! The application process will begin again on 9/12 - you should all consider applying!

I just got into round 2 as well!! Now trying to think what to do about my video as well!! this is exciting!

I too got my "we're so sorry but you didn't make it" email. LaDonna...I don't think being a frequent visitor was considered because we are Premier Passport Holders who visit WDW at least 4 times a year....oh well...maybe next year.

I got my "sorry you didn't make it" e-mail as well.....this is my 4th year to apply with no luck. I think it is my age - Disney Grandmothers Love WDW too!!!
