Got my apology email yesterday. Oh well I really didnt think I would get in anyway, considering the large number of applicants.

I understand there were four different replies: 1. an acceptance letter to the next level, 2. an rejection letter that implies you may be reached in the future, 3. a simple thank you rejection letter and 4. a few who have not heard anything.

Many, including me, received letters at email addresses that were not the ones we used to apply.

I don't have another e-amil address. Haven't for 8 years. Maybe if I don't hear I'll have to assume it was lost in the mail! I guess whatever is to be will be.

I'm just a lurker here and a member of the BBC Budget board..but I got IN! Woohoo, I was soo excited! And excited to see how many here got in as well.

I just submitted my 2nd round questions and am anxious to hear next week if we made it to the final stage!

Marleen, and anyone else who made it to round 2 and submitted their answers already...did you get a confirmation that it was received? I didn't, and now I'm nervous that they didn't get it, but I'm afraid if I try to go through and re-submit, that my entry will be invalidated because it was sent twice, if indeed they did get the first one!

I did not receive a confrimation email. Several others have also said there was no confirmation of their second round answers. I am hoping that something comes today since the answers were due at midnight last night.

I don't really expect to hear anything unless they call for the phone interview Mon, Tues or Thurs of next week. No clue what phone# they have or anything, so hopefully they will be leaving messages for us to call them back..cause I can't imagine waiting by the phone all 3 days

Thanks for letting me know you didn't get a confirmation email either. After I posted I read the same thing on another moms panel thread on the theme park board, several people responded that they didn't get confirmation either. I think I'm just paranoid! I'm fine with not getting chosen to go on to round 3, I mean, of course I really want to and hope to be chosen, but I understand that everyone else in round 2 is just as passionate and informed about WDW as I am and they are only picking 12, so I won't be surprised if I don't get it.....LOL, that said, I don't want to be excluded from the decision because they didn't get my answers!

I went back and read the acceptance email and it says they said those asked to move on to round 3 will be contacted via email to set up the phone interview, so I don't think we have to wait by the phone.

Yay Marleen! how exciting! Unfortunately, I didn't make it on to round 3, but I'm thrilled that out of 26 finalists, several DIS'ers made the cut! I am confident that many of you will be on the final panel! Good luck with your phone interview and make sure you tell us all about it once you make that panel! Positive thoughts!!!

Forgive my ignorance, I have a lot of posts to my name, but I haven't been able to get on in a while so I have NO IDEA what the Disney Mom Panel is. Can somebody fill me in? Is it too late to try to be on it, and if not, how do you do it? Sounded interesting!!!
