I tried to do a search on these but it was not working. Just looked at one of these at Target and they look very interesting. My DS7 wants an Ipod but think he is too young for that so thought this would be a good choice. I like that you can buy clips to play in it also. So, does anyone have this and how do you like it. Is the music easy to download (I am cluess on that type of thing). Do, they sell lots of different clips or just a few. Wondering if they will be coming out with a Pirates of Carribbean one (they had the new CARS one at Target) Any info would be great. Thanks.

My DD6 got one for Christmas. She does fine with it and it seems to work well. I have not been able to fine the cartriges since Christmas though. That is a little disappointing. I wanted to get her High School Musical but it was not out for the mix stick just on disc. We also bought the charger and I think it is nice to have.

DD12 has one and we have not had any problems with it .Be bought a 1gig SD card and just download her CD's to that .She also plays it through her I-Dog and the Jukebox thing.

DD got hers for Christmas too. We bought her a memory card and downloaded high school musical and other CDs for her (she can use that as well as her mix stix). She loves it and calls it her "ipod". This is great for the younger kids... I personally think she is still to young for an I-pod.

Thanks for the replies everyone. Can you only download CD's or can you go online and download songs that way also (like an Ipod)?? Also, How many different Mix Clips do they have out and do they constantly put out new ones?

You can download any Mp3 you have on your computer if you Drag & Drop it in through Windows Explorer Just like any other Drive available.I even did a Poscast for DD and do all my Cellphones Mp3's that way.I think it's easier then the download programs.

I use I-Tunes as my default and it works great.

As for the Mix Clips they have many of Disneys CD releases on the clips(they are just a locked SD card)..But your better to buy a Standard SD card and just put on it what you want.
