I am amazed @ the # of people on EBAY with outrageously priced merchandise that you can find right now at WDW~~ I was there last month and DD wanted the tree of life playset (not the monorail set). Well, on ebay, I found it for 70 plus 24. 95 shipping.

I called the merchandise # on my receipt & I purchased it directly from disney for $38.95 (including shipping).

Things that make you go HMMMMM!!!!!

I think that is an insidious thing about ebay -- people get into the mindset that they must win the auction and the item ends up being secondary. I know I had to stop cold turkey! I think a lot of items on ebay end up being way over priced and then you end up getting gouged on shipping if you are not careful.

for the record, I saw the monrail set and it was $75 at World of Disney if it is the one that comes woth the buildings and castle and a number of characters. If you found this for $38 you got an amazing deal!!!
