Disney Marathon Early Registration

I just logged on to do early registration using the Disney Rewards discount, but wanted to pay with my Costco AMEX to get the cash back reward. However, Active.com no longer accepts AMEX payments! This is new! I stepped through the registration earlier today without actually paying and AMEX was an option now it's not. Has anyone else experienced this?

That is weird because I paid for the Goofy last week with my AMEX card and had no problems. Maybe they were experiencing some technical difficulty during the time you were trying. I'd give it another try (assuming you haven't yet completed your purchase with another card).

Yeah, it's very weird. I'm going to try again in the morning. But the wording next to the payment drop down menu said "VISA or Mastercard only". That was not there earlier today and makes it seem more like a policy change versus a technical glitch. I wonder whether Active.com or the race sponsor chooses which payment methods to accept?

The AMEX payment option is back up. Seemed to coincide with the opening of general registration?
