My friend is lending us 2 Magical Moments Video games that her kids got last year when at Disney... she said that different games activate when you get to different rides... we have to put in new batteries but my question is do we have to do anything else when we get to Disney or will it reset itself when we walk in the park? :flower: :Pinkbounc

It's a little video game that has several games based on different attractions. I guess as you go around to the different attractions they activate (so long as the game is on). There's also a way to activate all the games yourself by pressing the up and down arrows. That's what I did.

It's a handheld computer device by Disney that is in the shape of Mickey's face & ears... within it there apparently are a variety of games & I think when you first get it
there are only a couple of games but different games are activated as you walk around the park.

here is a picture. We got it at the CBR gift shop but we saw it in all the parks and DTD. I don't remember the exact price but I know it was less than $20.

Cool!! Thanks!!! I DID see those all over, but I had no idea what they were!! LOL!

Do you think this would be appropriate for a four-year-old? It seems like soemthing fun to do while waiting in the long lines I'm sure we'll experience (we going to 1st week of May!).

To be honest my DD6 at the time thought it was boring.

What ages do you think this would be good for?
Thanks! :flower:

I got 2 of these a couple of years ago for Christmas, mine look a little different though. I still haven't taken them to the parks to see what they do. Mine is a Disney Trivia game, although it says it interacts with different attractions in the parks. I'm too scared I will lose them, lol. We also bought a Pal Mickey that's never seen a park either, but we bought him at the outlet store on the way home, so we'll take both in May and see what they do.

I bought some Magical Moments interactive pins off Ebay, for my kids. They look similar, but pin on. Parades and different attractions make the colored lights go crazy, apparently, if you put the switch on "Park" mode. If you have the switch on "Game" mode, you can play a "Simon" type of game. OH, and you can use it to make other people with these pins' lights go off, too!

I got them new in package, with battery inside plus extra battery, with all the instruction manuals, for about $2.50 each (I won auctions that had 2 or 3 pins included.)

These seemed a bit more young-kid friendly to me since no playing of games is required, it will interact and is inexpensive on Ebay!

Does anyone know anywhere you can buy these pins in disney?? They sound really cool.
thanks Diane

Right before Fantasmic, the vendors that walk around the stadium had them for sale and also the vendors on Main St right before the Spectro Magic parade.

Does anyone know how to adjust the contrast?

This doesn't help much now, but in December I found the Magical Memories pins at World of Disney marked down to about $1 or so. If I remember correctly, I got them for around 90 cents apiece with an AP discount. I don't know if they have them there any longer, but it might be worth asking about.
