Disney Magical Express Tipping

As Alesia stated, we tip $2/bag handled. If we let DME deliver our luggage and the driver doesn't need to store or retrieve it, we do not tip

Tipping is entirely up to you. If the driver stows anything for you, he/she will expect a tip....they are handling baggage for you after all. BUT....I have had a driver stow a largish carry on bag, and was prepared to tip upon arrival at my resort. However, that driver stood up, at each resort stop and announced that gratuities are gratefully accepted for exceptional service. Ok....there is signage, right above the windshield, that states the same thing. I'm not crazy about basically being asked for a tip. So, my tip money stayed in my pocket.
However, I had one ride, with nothing stowed beneath the bus, that had an incredible driver. He was funny, told great stories about the area, drove very safely. He really added to the start of my vacation....he got a tip! I think he was really surprised!
When I tip, it is usually $1-2 per bag.

Me too, if I have a great driver I give him a couple bucks even if I didn't have luggage.

A WDW vacation cost a few or many thousand dollars. I figure tipping the DME driver $5, is OK. They don't handle any of our bags. The way our society is, I appreciate someone that works, so I think they deserve a tip, unless they are a complete a--hole.

We usually tip a friendly driver where we have no bags $1 per passenger. If they help us with bags they will get more. If the bus driver stands at the door to allow everyone off and we have no bags, he gets a tip. If he is dealing with bags because he immediately starts unloading, he won't get a tip of he is difficult to get to as I don't want to hinder other tips. If the bus is empty when I get off, I will leave in his seat. One time he was getting individuals bags out, I waited for him to hand them their bags, then I quickly gave him his tip. It caused a scramble for others to get their tip money out.
