Disney Magic stuck at Castaway Cay due to wind

We went over and saw the ships. The magic was at the last pier before Jetty Park. The Wonder was at the terminal. I got some good pictures of the Wonder leaving next to the Magic. I will post them when we get home Sunday or Monday. DS got great video of them leaving. They had a horn duel. Does anyone know what time the Magic left? We gave up waiting for her after 6:15.

Did any of you see the TV coverage? I was watching WESH 2 and they were interviewing this woman who was crying because the ship wasn't there. "We've planned this trip for 2 years and now it's ruined....."

Meanwhile, everyone else they interviewed was saying: "hey, we got a day in EPCOT and our rooms were comp'd and we got 20% off the cruise!" Even the kids they interviewed were rolling with it.

Disney did the SAFE thing, and they made concessions to the folks who were inconvenienced. I don't know what else anyone would have suggested they do.

I wouldn't mind being stuck on Castaway Cay. Would sure beat winter in Rochester.

Almost anything beats the winter in Rochester and waking up to snow on your car every morning...
