Disney Magic Splash Pad....Your toddler's experience?

I am booked on the Magic in early June and my son will be 19 months at the time of sailing. We sailed on the fantasy in December 2024 when he was 13.5 months. When I booked the magic I thought the splash area he could enter was the aqua lab. I knew he couldn't enter the little pool there, but I thought the splash area beside it was okay. Well, I am watching youtube boat tours and have since realized he can only enter the Nephew's Splash Zone which is tiny and not that impressive.

Did your young toddler like this splash area? My son liked Nemo's reef- he really liked the little slide in it. I am a little concerned he will see the other splash area and pool and want to go over there (which he obviously can't). It is what it is, but I am a little disappointed they don't have a little more for under 3 on the pool deck in their splash area. Maybe this little splash area is actually super fun for that age, so please share your experience!!

we had the nemo one on the wonder and my son was walking and 1 yr, he loved it! we were there for hours! the aqua zone we were allowed to do sometimes but he was happy to just splash and make friends in the little nemo zone

That Nemo area looks better than the Nephew's splash area on the magic hahah. My son loved the fantasy nemo area. So you were allowed in the bigger splash pad with him sometimes?

yes, since its a smaller boat we became friends with a lot of the cast members around there and most didnt mind. as long as we didnt go in the pool which we were fine with. once in a while we were told to go to the little reef which was fine with us, we were just happy that he got to check out the bigger splash zone too
