Will be in July 2016 for 2 nights. I do want to ride on the HOHO and go to the Harry Potter world, don't care for an expensive meal, a sandwich or hamburguer is ok. So I do want a hotel near the HOHO stop. Thanks.

Both work, the Thistle is close to Marble Arch which is a major starting point for the HOHO there are other starts as well.

Harry Potter is train from Euston both can get yo that by tube.

The Studio Tour’s nearest railway station is Watford Junction and direct services arrive there from both London Euston (20 minute journey) and Birmingham New Street (1 hour journey). Other non-direct train services operate from London Euston, but please be aware that these may take longer to arrive at Watford Junction.

A shuttle bus, operated by Mullany's Coaches, runs from Watford Junction to the Studio Tour with a journey time of around 15 minutes. There is a £2 return charge for this service. Please plan to arrive at Watford Junction 45 minutes before the time stated on your ticket and have your ticket or booking confirmation ready when boarding the shuttle bus. The last bus departs from the Studio Tour 20 minutes before our closing time which varies based on the day of your visit.
