Can I pay with dollars like souvenirs or maybe lunch on ports?

In Russia its best to use local money. Cards are accepted in main tourist places and port duty free. But do not use them there for security. All other ports cards are fine, ATMs fine, small local currency for snacks. Euros are often accepted everywhere. Dollars not so much. Do not use ship to exchange as its a corporate rate.
