It wasn't too bad! Andrew went through a bit of a withdraw when Jenn first left, but then all was well. They have spent the last 2 weeks with her and didn't want her to leave! Can't say that I blame him! PLUS, I have a very good routine with them. So, this morning, she was still there, and he wanted Pizza for breakfast. I told him to get up at the table and I would fix it. He threw a fit. He wanted to eat in the living room at the table. Well, she has been letting him do that! then she wonders why her BRAND new carpet is about shot! They let the kids eat in there and I don't! They have to eat at the table. BUT, I went in to make lunch, and when Andrew's show was over, he turned off the TV and came in the kitchen. He asked, "Is it lunchtime?" I said, "Yep, get up at the table" And he did, with no questions! Ashlee could careless who is there, I think! LOL

That is kind of too bad that they do not keep the same routine as you do. It would make things much easier on the kids.

If you have a snow day this week do you still go and watch the kids??!!!!

Well, SUPPOSEDLY, when there is a snow day, then I don't go. Simply because, if the roads are bad enough for the kids to stay home, then the roads are bad enough that she can't go to see Dr's offices and such. I guess a few years ago, 2 drug reps were out on a "snow day" and got in a really severe accident. Since then, everyone in the field, in this area, has heeded to the warning. However, the last snow day, she called and had me to come for a few hours. She had a lunch with a Dr's office that just could not be put off. But, Generally, I don't go though.

RISE AND SHINE PARROTHEADS!!!

We have school today, BUT we are expecting 2.5 inches of rain in the next 24 hours, then that will change over to 2 inches of snow for tomorrow afternnon/evening. Who knows what the BOE will do. We have been sent home for rain before. It lays on the roads and creeks go up, so they send them home before they can't get them all home! And 2 inches of snow...I've seen them cancel school for less!!!!!

Makin' some Chicken for dinner. I think we'll just use shake n bake...said in my best Talledega Nights version. LOL

Oh my goodness....I ditched the shake n bake and made homemade chicken noodle soup! It was SO good!!! I am going to fix a bowl to take for lunch tomorrow too!! Even Connor, my picky eater, ate everything in his bowl!! I am thinking I'll have to make this more often!!!

with the rain and the cold, it just sounded so much better then baked chicken!

well, I dunno if it was a great day, but it wasn't a bad day either! LOL

I guess Andrew has been telling Jenn when he has pottied in his diaper. He has never told me he needs changed or wants to go in the potty. She is not in a hurry to potty train him, but trying to peak his interest. She told me today, that if he went in the potty, to call her and she would bring him home a car from Cars....his new obsession. So, a few times today....usually at the end of a show, commercial time.....I would ask, "Andrew. How about we try to go pee in the potty?" He would say, "Uummm, No Thank You." OMG! I was cracking up at him!!!! His vocabulary is REALLY coming along! Yesterday he told me he wanted pizza for lunch, so I fixed him a slice of pizza. When he got up at the table, I placed it in front of him. He looked up and said, "Oh Thank You 'Chele! It's my favorite!" Pronounced Favowit LOL He is just TOOOO cute!
