Merkie, GET BETTER!! The boy across the street had it for 5 DAYS, off and on. One minute he'd be fine, think he could go back to school the next day, and bam, he'd be sick again!! My friend's daughter is home with it today and her son had it last week. YUCK

Gail, I think you should get the ressie from Gail and print off a copy to give Merkie as a gift for Christmas. I would put it in an envelope and stick it in the tree...not with the other gifts, and then after all the gifts are open and you are just sort of sitting there, say to her, "what is that in the tree?" She'll be all, "What? I don't see anything?" And you say, "That white thing. Like a piece of paper or something?" Then she'll find it and open it and see you have another trip booked!! We actually did the boys this way with park tickets. They were a little bit younger and couldn't grasp at first WHY we would have park tickets if we weren't going to Disney? LOL Then they got it!

Candy, those photos are just amazing. It's almost like a tornado, picking and choosing and not knowing which one will be left standing once it's through.

Michelle.....Merkie is laying her next to me. Everyone was sending her well wishes so I started reading them to her. When I got to your's I started reading it to and almost gave away the secret. I stopped real quick and said I can't read that. I ended up having to tell her that you were talking about a Christmas present. I got us both a laugh and the first smile I've seen on her face all day.

I sure hope that she doesn't stay sick for 5 days. When she has to miss school, it creates a real problem for me. My parents are the only family I have that don't work and since Dad retired they are always going somewhere. They have cabin at Cave Run Lake about 2.5 hours away and they are spending this whole week there. Merkie's Dad said that he could keep her on Wednesday if it's needed, but he has to work the rest of the week. If she's sick all week, I'll have to miss work all week.

Hello everyone! I hope everyone is staying warm today. If there is a good side to Merkie being sick, I guess it is that I didn't have to get out in the cold today.

Hi everyone...Remember me Im back!! Sorry I have missed out on so much But I feel that I am finally starting to be able to think straight and get my mind in order instead of focusing on unpacking and organizing. I still have a few things left to do for the house to get it "JUST RIGHT" but for now, its good

So as most of you have seen that the latest news on this end of the computer screen is our new puppy, Harley. He is a funny little guy and although he has a GREAT personality and temperment, he is still very much a puppy and is going thru the chewing stage So we are working that out, trying to redirect his chewing to his toys and not our fingers, shoes, Chris toys and wires and such....It isnt easy but its a work in progress He is doing pretty good on potty training though. Today was the first time he peed in the floor and he was on the way outside when it happened (poor guy just couldnt make it in time) but he is trying and we are working on it.

So how is everyone else??? I havent dared gone thru past posts...I would never be able to post if I spent the time back reading I briefly read about the fires sending these that way to hopefully get them out of there and Gail I hope that Merkie gets to feeling better and isnt sick for 5 days for both of your sakes Well I am off to catch up on some mail and more organizing while the puppy is asleep...I feel like I have 2 kids now So I have to get things in between the pup and Chris being entertained

Oh my!! LOL The boys and I have been surfing a website called Myxer.com. It's all kinds of FREE downloadable ring tones. Well, I of course, search Disney. My new ringtone is the spiel from the Monorail Doors!! "Please stand clear of the doors. Por favor....." I have heard they have this on a tshirt outside the entrance to EPCOT. I might just have to get it! Of course my politically correct Colton is worried that I might offend someone. Oh well....it's Disney! I originally had Lovebug by The Jonas Brothers. I promised them after dinner I would go through and get them some tunes. I have to download them to my phone and then I figured out how to send it to theirs.

Yeah, I'm going have to start reading first. I have decided to tell her at Christmas. Hey Kristin, Carol didn't e-mail today. I'll try to give her a call tomorrow.

Merkie's school made the local news tonight. More than one third of her school and ten of the teachers were absent today with the stomach virus. The news said that if attendance isn't back up tomorrow, the School Board is planning to cancel school the rest of the week. I know Merkie won't be back at school tomorrow.

Laundry is my achilles heel too! It's just on going, never ending.

As I look out the window, I see that my world is turning white. There's a pretty good flurry right now and occasionally we have a snow burst. Gotta love it! They even mentioned during the 6pm news that if there were school delays or closings, they would be posted in the crawl at the botton of the screen! I could use another Tuesday off! My friend called to make sure I went to the store for milk and bread today!

Yes, she was just sick she has no other symptoms but a HIGH FEVER!!!!!!!!!

Snow, I can not believe that it is snowing. It is cold enough to snow here but not yet... Bruce, actually brought up the snow blower from the shed yesterday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
