Are ya'll keeping warm?? Of course we're only getting into the 20's tonight, but no snow. You know the teacher's motto right? The only good snow is on a school night, other than that.... wasted snow. I think the only thing getting overworked is my brain. I need to get back on the treadmill, but it's ummm buried right now....... under important items, that's it, important items. yeah right.

20's? sheesh I dont hope we see anything that low here. 50"is a cold wave here lol

yes indeed allen; the V.A. is very very slow (typical govt agency) in approving any claim (in this case 22 years slow) but if and when they approve a claim; they go back retro active to the date that the claim was applied for. so it was definitely a nice surprise check. Obama will be looking to see where that money went LOL.

we just got a surpise check from the veterans admin for back pay on an award for my PTSD compensation so we may have to do transatlantic cruise in 2011 or 2012 if DCL has one

We have some friends here that has a daughter and family in Minn.(somewhere up near Mn/Nd border. the way they talk about their weather--I would have to hibernate for the winter
