Hey Everyone,,,,

Michele, I did watch Extreme Homemake over last night and I was soo jealous.. It looked like they were the only ones on the ship...

Candy, Thanks, for the recipe.....I want to try it this week...

More snow expected on Wed. for us saying ten inches or soo...UGH!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nancy, we have done the dining plan and not done it. With that said it works for us since the kids are still little and want to eat at places that have characters and a lot of those places and get expensive. It is a nice way to have reservations and know that we will eat at one nice place a day. It is a nice break to be able to sit and relax at a nice dinner. Plus, the kids love to see the characters then we do not waste time waiting in line in the parks to see the characters since we will be eating with them. Plus, we have gotten to eat at some nicer places. Such as Narcoosees, Yatchmans, etc.....

Kristin, that cooler is too cute! Need or want?? Hmmmm. I might have to think about it!!!!

Candy, thanks for the recipe!

I am off to bed! We haven't seen more snow yet this evening. They are now saying after Midnight. I would be REALLY surprised if we had school tomorrow. They are still calling for 3-6 inches with ice in the afternoon.

Everyone have a good night!

the only problem is with us is that there will be 10 or more of us going and it will be impossible to agree on one place!! LOL
But our next trip (alone) we will be doing things the way WE want to!! :)

Nancy, one thing you all better talk about now, is to agree to disagree!! With that many people, you are not all going to be doing the same thing at the same time. I would break into groups and meet back at certain times. Say.....Monday, Magic Kingdom Day. Everyone arrives together for rope drop...then you break off and meet up again at Noon in front of The Haunted Mansion to ride together before going to lunch together at Columbia Harbour House. Then you break off again and meet up again for the Parade at 3, then break off again until your 7pm ressies at Crystal Palace. Then stick together for the evening parade and fireworks. This way you aren't going to be wasting time. Your boys might want to stop and do all the KidCot sites in EPCOT, but your Neice and Nephew have no desire...so they are wasting time waiting for your boys, when they could be moving on. Does this make sense without sounding mean? I could not imagine trying to keep a group that big together.

We've got the snow today!!!!! We got about 5 inches over night and Colton has shoveled most of the drive, but he said that it has a sheet of ice under the snow...which is probably right since Steve had to scrape before he went to work. Then he forgot some paperwork, so he came back and didn't make it up the hill. He has to roll to the bottom and get a running start. Now our neighbor backed into our drive, "thinking" it was clear since it has been shoveled, but he got hung up as well. I am going to put on some clothes and go out and finish the bottom of the drive that Colton didn't get and put down Ice Melt...especially on the hill. Later today, they are still calling for ice, rain and flooding, then more snow, 2-3 inches for tomorrow! I can just about guarentee the kids won't have school again tomorrow! that will be 5 snow days for Jan and One for Dec!

everyone have a good day!

Nancy, I echo what Michele said, do NOT try to spend all the time together, you will all go insane! And if you do get the dining plan, it doesn't mean you all have to eat at the same places. You can eat where you want and meet up later if that works. Not that I'm saying the plan is worth it for you, cuz only you know that, but it can be done with a large group, all it really does is prepays your meals for you.

OK, now what the heck is all this global warming we hear about? Turns out this will be the 2nd January since they started keeping records that we never hit 32 degrees! I think wherever global warming is doing it's thing, it's skipped us.

yep That's what I was thinking of doing too! since no one else in my family has been to disney and have not a clue about the Dis:eek: they have no idea what to expect or where to go or what to do!! that's why my mom put me in charge of planning this trip. LOL I already spoke to my parents about this issue and we will have to sit down together and plan this out.

LOL I think they changed the "global warming" to "global climate change" now since they realized the planet is not really warming up but is going through a climate change cycle, like they had 30-40 years ago.
I'm like you I see no increase in the temps, just keeps getting colder and we have more snow than before!!

I'm suppose to go visit my parents for March break, so this will be a great time to decide everything that has to be done for this trip, so I'm expecting arguments from my sister...should be fun LOL

I think the global warming is hitting us down here! After a week of temps in the sixties and raining, we are heading back up to the 70s and 80s again. I think this has been the warmest and dryest January in a long time, if not ever!!!
You know it's pathetic when we get 1/4 inch of rain and the news media is all over it calling it "storm watch"!! LOL

Oh my! the dogs were barking, so I went to see. One of the neighbor girls slipped on the ice in the street and she was CRAWLING to the yard where the snow is. Then she slipped walking across my driveway! It's just REALLY nasty out right now. Now that the sun is setting, and it's still sleeting, it's going to be ugly by the time Steve gets home at 9.

:rotfl: that's too funny.....hope you get some real rain soon though, I bet this dry weather is not good!!

oh gosh I hope she didn't get hurt??? tell Steve to be careful driving out there!!!!

well according to the weather station, we are suppose to get about 4 inches of snow tonight!! can't wait to see if we'll actually get it any!!

I called Steve to tell him it was going to get worse and that we were under a State Of Emergancy. He said he got a memo from higher ups that said, "Rite Aid does not close due to inclement weather. If you are lacking customers, work on XYZ." Hhhmmmm, the 911 is telling people to stay off the roads unless it's an emergancy, the Gov. sent everyone home that was a Non Essential State Employee, the news is now saying that we should expect downed powerlines and fallen trees. But By Golly, Rite Aid WILL be open!!!! :confused3

Well, you know all the morons who are out and about need a place to buy the first aid gear when they get hurt! That stinks, be safe Steve.

It's Official! No School again tomorrow!! That's 3 days in a row and 5 this month!! This will be 6 snow days for this school year. I think that's the most we've ever had, and we still have snow through February, sometimes March! Steve is home, safe and sound!
