It is soooo hot here!!!! Ugh!!
But I haven't turned on my a/c yet!! So I guess it's not that hot!! LOL

Oh I want some of your heat.....LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It was so nice here today. We cut the grass, fertilized it planted some pansies so spring looks like it has sprung at our house......LOL!!!!!!

The kids had a playdate at a friends house and then they played at our neighbors house and we had a few "cocktails," with them well I did. Bruce is on medication so he could not drink...He is still not feeling all of that great but a bit better.....!!!!!!!!!!!!

Tomorrow, is is supposed to rain so we are going to make that pulled pork recipe that I sent you...Have you tried it yet??!!

I am heading off to bed. Maybe I can get to sleep quickly, then if this line of storms makes it all the way here, I might sleep right through it! Although, i doubt it. I am usually the one WIDE awake during a storm.

Good Night. Rain is moving into here tonight after Midnight.....!!!!! Then rain all day tomorrow. I think I am going to make pulled pork for tomorrow for dinner in the crock-pot!!!!!!!! YUM!!!!!!!!! YUM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My day was pretty good, just housework and driving Shannon to school, catching up on laundry, I finally made the guest bed, I washed the sheets and blankets awhile ago I just wasn't in a big hurry to make it, and I reorganized the toys in the guest room. I have to do that everytime the kids leave. LOL

I'm going to make the pulled pork recipe tomorrow too. I'm making the one you gave me over the phone with the liquid smoke and cola. Is that the one you are making??
I met my friend for lunch yesterday, we are going to be cooks for girls camp this year, so we were going over the menu, and I told her about this recipe. She wants to know how it is because we might make it for lunch at camp.

I think Bruce really needs to rest tomorrow since he has a big week on Monday they launch a new product and it is all on Bruce's shoulders this new product......Plus, I have a few school meetings this week too!!!!

Busy week in school this week with Parent-Teacher Conferences, etc.....The end of this week is going to be busy too. I am in charge of my kids Cultural Day at school and we have a meeting on Wed. night which I have to run. Then Kindergarten Orientation is Thurday night and I have to go on behalf of the PTA..So it will be busy then Friday is the start of our Consignement Sale at School for the weekend. I can't wait for next weekend and for this week to be over and it has not even started.

Need to take Hanna back to get her glasses readjusted...They are too tight now...I really hope the women can get them right this time around...I wish there was a way I could get them adjust them myself!!!!!!

Pretty emotional morning for us.
Colton got a phone call from his friend Keya's Mom at 630 am. Keya and her boyfriend, Seth, who is also Colton's friend, they decided to run away in the middle of the night. Neither one took a cell phone...they knew it could be traced. Colton said they had talked about it, but never thought they really would do it. We have talked to the parents and the police. Everyone is out looking for them. They are 14. Who knows how much money they took or clothes or whatever. I have a feeling they are not far, but who knows. If they were able to hitch hike....we are close to I-64...they could be farther then we think.

Please just pray for these babies that they get home safe and sound and nothing happens to them.

I just feel like I don't know what to do right now. The parents are making flyers. I was thinking of just driving around and looking. Maybe go to the park and check at the shelters and it just dawned on me while I was sitting here, we have a rest stop right close that they could have easily walked to. Maybe head there and see if a worker there might have seen them. My biggest fear is that some idiot has given them a ride somewhere.

It's cold, it's dark. I hope they get scared, cold and hungry and come home tonight.
