So I joined the DMK ******* server sometime last week. Mainly to just see what chatter was happening about the recent event, etc. So they have a channel on this "new and exciting" *cough* "Club". There is a link to a FAQ page. DMK isn't listed as an available game (yet). I think it launches today with the new Season. To 'join' the club is free. They do indicate that some content is available through purchase through their webstore.

I am also curious to see what happens in the Token shop after the new download is available. The obnoxiously expensive bundles expire at the beginning of the new season. My guess is that once they are gone, nothing will change and you won't be able to get the tokens any easier than currently. But every now and then we get surprised.

Of course we've already found the first bug in the update.

Don't click on the Cinderella discovery thing at the bottom of the screen. You won't be able to close it...have to force close the game.

The iOS update is available. First thing is you can start working on Emile token collection. And it appears that the BBW, the 3 Swine and LLRH have tokens available to purchase with elixir. The BBW still only has a single character collecting tokens though. Just checked one of the pigs and still same token collection. But at least you can use elixir right now.

I have a question... is there any point in collecting happiness when there is no Kingdom Pass event? Does the happiness affect affect our collection / drop rates? I am thinking no, but am looking for confirmation.

When they changed the happiness a few years ago, the drop rates are what they are now. When they had the ecstatic happiness level (I think that is what it was called), you could get better drop rates. Since then, the happiness really only affects the Season/Kingdom Pass levels. That is my understanding of the situation. I could be totally wrong.

They do this every time the season ends and it's update day. Then they have to say "woops, we screwed up but you'll get happiness when the new season starts."

Even with the debacle that was the start of last season, I ended up finishing the season so early that at the end when I collected all the magic for the "extra" levels, I'd gone 37 levels past 150. Which makes me really wish the reward beyond level 150 was something more useful than magic.

I stopped cashing in the season pass rewards and doing the activities after I got the character and costume at 150. Would be nice to get a gem per additional level instead of worthless magic.

I just claimed mine. It's a Brave chest. Check your id for typos, I had one in mine at first.

I've only been logging in to keep my streak up and level up my backlog of characters. Still not sure how I'm feeling about this game right now. I've walked away once, but not totally sure I'm ready to do it again.

The redemption link for these codes is always: https://www.gameloft.com/redeem/disney-magic-kingdoms

You enter your player ID, which looks something like mdc:123abc

To get your player ID, look on the splash screen when the game starts. If you miss it there, use the Options menu in the top right corner of the game. Open Options, then click the Credits button. Your ID is near the top as the credits roll, but you can scroll back up.

FYI, make sure you enter your player ID exactly as it appears. When I tried it first, the "mdc" was entered as "Mdc" and was not recognized. It appears that the player ID is case sensitive.
