Managed another bag in the first drops of the day...15/4. I would need 490 gems right now to get BBW. I have 428. I need some more drops (like, a lot of drops) in the next 24 hours.

So far this morning I have not gotten any drops. Believe I have not had any drops in a day or two. Think it said 720 gem and I won’t spend my gems on the BBW unless it’s less than 100 gems for him. He just not important to me.

I'm at 7 bags, 3 Ears, 24K EC. I'll be fine with event currency, but as of right now BBW costs 785 gems and I'm not even close to that amount after buying RRH.

I have abandoned the wolf. I’ve been collecting since he unlocked and I’m at 3 hats and 4 bags. He costs over 900 gems to purchase him.
I took a year and a half off playing this game because of this BS, and I see things have only gotten worse. I’m focussing on upgrading my pigs as high as I can get them seeing as I won’t be needing my 25,000 event currency for the wolf.

So here's what I find fascinating. Normally, by this point, the screencaps on Reddit start to roll in about the final character being obtained. Maybe not a lot, but here or there. I'm not seeing that happen there, or here. With a day to go, has anyone gotten the BBW without gemming his tokens or paying the $30 for him?

On Instagram, they have asked for their comments/feedback (like they typically do). Very few positive comments. Even a few stating/asking them why even ask for comments/feedback since they never appear to listen.

One easy thing they could do, at least for the future, is to get rid of the time wall. Just open the event up and let people play. If they keep the last character difficult, like BBW, then stopping the time wall gives some players more time to collect. Does it resolve all of the complaints/issues/feedback??? Not by any means. But that would be an example of good faith.

Gameloft doesn't need our feedback/input. They're the ones programming the game and know full well what obstacles players are experiencing.

Agreed. It sounds like something they would do.

I did submit more and new feedback to them. This is the third time, I think, for this event.

Oh, and BTW, the reward shows refresh tokens as a calendar reward on Thursday the 10th. Tower Event to start then, apparently, along with the new season.

I haven't posted about the game here in forever, but this event is just atrocious. Bought LLRH on day 1 and she's been all but useless. Having to choose between sending characters for gold trophy or event currency is just mean and the drop rates, even with our "gift" are just a lesson in frustration. I generally support the game by buying the Kingdom Pass because it doesn't work if everyone plays for free and I don't mind rewarding them for entertainment. I do mind rewarding them for this frustration though. I don't know if the number of people paying for KP lulled them into thinking we would be willing to pay $30 for BBW, but I won't be. I'm not even to the point of collecting for BBW, so I'm not spending any more time on event currency and will just keep out token earning characters so I can work on the long list of others who aren't leveled up.

The sunsetting of Simpsons: Tapped Out reminds me that this is all just fleeting and all we are playing for is the entertainment, when they go to shut it down it won't matter what characters we have or don't have.

The choose between tokens/Event Currency and gold trophy has been their mode of operation for quite some time. I typically focus on the tokens versus the gold trophy conflicts. Depending on how much Event Currency I have, I may focus on the gold trophies instead. Just depends on the event and where I have been progressing.

Like you, I view the game as a form of entertainment. So I am willing to pay some $ for that. Like you and with most of the comments I am seeing, I won't pay what they are asking for the BBW.

Only time will tell if they actually make changes in future events to dial some of this insanity back. I would like to be optimistic that they may listen to feedback. But past history shows that belief to be futile.

I’m at 10 bags, 6 suitcases. Cost: 540 gems. So I think it’s 50 gems for each hat, 30 gems for each bag.

I’ve started leveling up pigs with any EC I have over the 25K needed for baddie. The current pig token requirements will probably double or triple once the event ends. And all the buildings we enchanted will likely no longer drop any of the harder to get tokens. Barnstormer won’t even get silly symphony tokens anymore until you can get it to lvl 4 enchantment…which costs 600 relics!

It feels like this game must be on its last legs. A house of straw.

I guess I picked a good event to be sick during. iOS I have not even made it to start collecting for BBW. Windows I will be lucky if I get enough EC to get practical pig. The EC has been a real issue for me with limited play. Poor event for everyone and for all kinds of reasons. They are blowing it, and I don't know if they care. I wonder how much they make on ads vs in game purchases? They can kiss my butt @ $30 for a 100 year old character that is endearing to noone.

I just picked up most characters token and still nothing for BBW. So looks like three days with
No tokens and very few the days before. I had all the other Pigs and Red ready to level and believe I will start them I have plenty of EC.

Play more - what a load of doody... I mean, pretty much everyone here plays ALOT. We couldn't play more. (We can, of course, pay more...)

The removal of a time wall would only help people with everything. It will not help others. (And here, the BBW's time wall was NOT the problem for a lot of people. It was the token drop rate and the crazy EC requirements.)

And, if past is any reflection towards the future - things will not get better. They will continue to get worse.

And now you add this new Club idea? I mean, come on, isn't the season pass already a club? And now they want more?

And, you know that they are watching how this event went down like a hawk, to see how far they can push it. If you buy BBW - you are rewarding them and reenforcing their bad behavior.
