They are getting a LOT of feedback on their FB page. It's all much angrier than what I'm reading here. They don't care.

Ironically I have most of the ear hats but I still need a lot of the suitcase. None of this makes any sense.

All I know is that I'm not having fun anymore.

Well, I’m within gemming range for BBW…410 gems to get him, I have 434. I’m gonna wait to tomorrow to see what happens with token drops.

I am within range as well, but I'm not sure I want to get him for all of those gems. On the other hand, I don't think I'll be playing this much longer, so why not spend them now?

Well my collection of tokens did not change overnight. I woke up in middle of night and collected and sent everyone back out but overall only collected 2 more suitcases and no hats. That puts me at 11/18 Suitcases and still 3/12 Hats. And other then at night ususally I collect frequently during the day and so collecting more often does not fix this issue. I decided to start leveling the other pigs and Red, it will still, who I had been keeping at ready to level to hopefully help collecting for BBW. I will not spend gems for this character. Enough Gameloft. You have pushed to far.

As of this morning, I have the flipping wolf available for 300 gems. So, I will be getting him. Still waiting until the next round of drops to do it. Every little bit helps

I’m honestly not too annoyed about the wolf droppings. It is not unusual at all for me to use gems to get the last character. It was the Impractical Pig that sent me over the edge. Between the ludicrous requirements for token missions, token drops, and a straight up error in telling us what was need for one of the missions….I mean, come on, Gameloft! Yes, the free stuff (after we needed it) was a nice gesture, but I think you should go a teensy bit further for this screw up

I am still debating about using gems for BBW, it is currently sitting at 660 gems to get BbW. Because he means nothing to me , do I want to save Gems for someone in future who I might want.

I left the game midway through the event,and without getting the second attraction. I couldn't finish it. Haven't been on since,but then I saw the roadmap for the upcoming events and am horribly conflicted. I'm at a point where the MSL progress has crawled to a standstill (collecting for Peter,Lady,Mim and Burn-E).

With 4 hours to go, just did a collection and I am at 16/18 suitcases and 8/12 ears hat. It is costing me 260 gems. But given how my day can get with work stuff, I am pulling the trigger with this and using gems.

I have 10 bags, and 4 ears(649 gems), so I'll upgrade the pigs. RRH was totally useless. I got her to level 7 and Practical pig also has to be 7 for her to be useful. Ridiculous

Wingweaver84: I'm in a similar place as you with the main story line - working on Pan, Lady, Great Prince of the Forest and Burn-E. And it is slow go, for sure. At this point, it will seem like success to have GPof the F by Halloween, Lady by Thanksgiving and Pan by NYE. Burn-E - maybe Valentine's Day....

I highy expect some sort of "gift" here - and it will be something totally useless, like a lot of happiness (when most people here should have gotten Becky weeks ago). Any bets what it will be?

Same. Had a hat drop overnight and then another in the last round of tokens...bought him for 300 gems. Got 20 back for a full collection, so really cost 280. Leveled Practical Pig, leveling Hood. Now I can go about leveling everyone waiting in the wings...

Finally got into gem range with BBW so welcomed with gems. Emptied out my pile of gems though. This event was really awful with drops and requirements, and the lack of quality control on the posted requirements. Hopefully the interns listen to the feedback.

I'm now at 360 gems needed for the Wolf, and have another set of collections right before the event end time in a couple hours. I'll probably do some time skips sometime before then to not cut it so close, to try to lower the gem cost, but we'll see what happens. First time I've ever had to gem a final character, much less over 300 of them.

Finally pulled the trigger here. Got the wolf for 240 and got the 20 gems back for collection completion. Not bad. I have spent way more at the end of these things. Not a care in the world that I didn’t finish the event. I rarely do

That’s what I did too. Usually, I don’t rush to level and rather have the gems. But this time I leveled up all 4 other characters. My IOS game I was at 2/3 for BBW tokens. Windows… well I haven’t even made it to the 2nd battle.

If there ever was a time for players to hang together and reject buying and gemming the final character, it’s now. They won’t, but now is the moment.

Currently would need to spend 460 gems to get baddie. I have 11 suitcases, 7 hats. One more round of collections to go. In my recollection, I have never had to pay gems to get the final character. If I did, it may have been for 1-2 token drops when I didn’t have time to wait until the 11th hour.

I opened a chat with customer care. Clicked on their frequently submitted issue: “Valuable tokens don't drop for me”

Their stock answer when you click that item…

“We understand that this specific part of the game might bring some disappointments from time to time. These valuable tokens are very rare and thus they drop less frequently. You will have to be persistent with tasks to get the items that you need to summon a desired character. We hope this information was helpful. Have a great day!”

So I continued the chat….here’s my abbreviated version of my note…


“ *Contrary to your advice, persistent gameplay is not the solution for valuable token drops. I play persistently, as I have for more than 8 years now.

*Purchasing the kingdom pass is not the solution for valuable token drops.
I have purchased it since that gameplay addition was added. Purchasing the kingdom pass yields 360 gems, not even enough for a premium character. Not that it matters, since premium characters are not actually helpful in events any longer since the premium character must be leveled up to impossible levels to “help” with valuable tokens.

*Since playing persistently & spending money do not help, it seems you are driving loyal players to no longer do those things. Make the gameplay less fun, place impossible obstacles on players, provide no incentive for playing more or paying more seems to be the current gameplay model.

Understood.”

I wanted to make them aware they are driving long time, loyal, paying customers away with this miserable event model. Not that they will take heed.

Well this is fun. Went down to my computer to finish tasks. The game wasn't recognizing the event was still going on, and I didn't notice it didn't recognize the event was still going on. So I did my collection and of course got no EC. So I can't even level up the Pig I was going to because I was 500ish EC short before going to bed. Restarting the game, it recognizes the event isn't over, but still missed out on the EC and token collection. Since apparently the only characters recognized for dropping specific tokens was the post-event version... which... does not look pretty.
