LESS THAN 40 DAYS!! CRAZY

This is a 5-night cruise so I assume we do not have a formal night, but that we will have an optional dress-up night. Am I thinking correctly about this?

I have an ulterior motive for asking. I usually wear a tux on formal and semi-formal nights on the weeklong cruises, as we like to get dressed up, but I have an agreement with her that I can wear a kilt when we visit a Commonwealth country except for the Bahamas. Last time I got to do this was to Bermuda so I want to be sure there is at least 1 night on this cruise that will justify me bringing my kilt and all it's assorted bling along.

Go fo it. DO you like the bag pipes? in Saint John, NB. It is tradition for a piper to play as the ship is being ready to sail. if you go to the dock side of the ship you should be albe to find him on the dock. enjoy Canada it is a great place.

Love the pipes, though I can't play them myself. At the moment, I'm planning to wear a kilt while in Halifax and St John because both were settled by Scots (not that I need an excuse).

ANd I called and this is the info I got as far as the nights:

MONDAY. the 3rd is Dress up. when I asked for clarification she said like wedding attire. SO I said like semi- formal? . she said yes
I said so its not Halloween? SHe said def. not

They dont list Halloween till your on the ship, because it changes but based on the schedule she thinks it will be the 4th.

PIRATE NIGHT IS A DEFINATE on Wed the 5th
