Disney Magazine Subscription Member Perk still Available

I couldn't find this perk in the latest DVC publications, so I performed a search and found this old post on a different board:

I saw a thread on the US DVC Board about the Disney Magazine. Someone emailed DVC about the magazine and got this email back: As a Disney Vacation Club member you receive a 2 year subscription to the Disney Magazine for $10.
To subscribe you will need to call 800-333-8734 ext 4501 and ask for offer LDVC01.

I just called to renew my family's subscription and the code is still valid (50% off of the regular rate). I thought I'd pass it on to others who might find the information useful.

I don't think I've ever seen The Disney Magazine online anywhere. It is put out by Disney (obviously), it has stories, articles about all things Disney. It gives most of us a little Disney fix. I just got my 'if you don't renew now, you won't be getting another issue' notice. This phone number is very timely!! Thanks.

Actually, it sounds like DD10 would like it...but DS6 might like Disney Adventures better. I emailed member services to see if there is a discount for that magazine as well. I did find it for $11.95 per year online:

I just called and ordered. And I am such a sucker---they offered me a "special"--one year of Family Fun for an add'l $10. so I took it.

My dh is rolling his eyes at me.....but hey, it's my bday this week, so I told him it's a present to myself!

I resubscribed at $10/2yr some time ago through an offer mailed to me. I don't recall anything about it being a DVC offer, though. Either they just got my name from a DVC membership list, or this was a different discount altogether.

Disney Magazine used to be a freebie with the Disney Club membership that went away on 12/31/03. We received the same $10 / 2yr offer as former members of the DC. Perhaps that's how it got to you as well.
