Hello everyone

My name is BelleChin06 but you can call me Chin ^_^ This my first ever Pre-Trip report so I hope you enjoy, and I will do my best to keep it fun and informational!

I guess to introduce myself, I'm 28, a Filipino-Canadian hailing from the island of Cebu, Philippines and is now living in Toronto, Canada! (Oh Canadaaaaaa

I grew up loving Disney ever since I could remember.. and for proof, see here my cute Aladdin swimsuit picture when I was 4.

My favorite Disney Character is obviously Belle (as you can see in my Avatar) and my favorite Disney movie is Beauty and The Beast and my favorite Pixar movie is Ratatouille!

And my partner for this trip, is another Disney nerd, my partner of 6years.. who we will call Puppi and who I will fondly refer to as the BBF (Best Boyfriend Forever LOL). He currently works at Disney English in China. Also born and raised in the Philippines and then moved to Canada. He loves Disney way more than I do (and that's saying something!).

He is also 28. Favorite movie is The Lion King and Favorite Pixar movie is Toy Story. Favorite Disney character... hmm I would say Stitch or Goofy LOL

A summary of our past Disney Trips for the last 3 years:

Aug 23-30, 2014 - DISNEY CRUISE - FANTASY (East Carribean)

June 27-Jul 4, 2015 - DISNEY CRUISE - FANTASY (W. Carribean)

Sept 28-30, 2016 / OCT 11, 2016 - HONG KONG DISNEYLAND

So... for this next part, I guess I'll go ahead and say this is the FIRST TIME I've used the Disney Boards or done any kinda of extensive research and planning for a Disney trip. So I'm looking forward to any advice or tips for us!

For our previous trips, at least for both cruises, I only did any amount of research in regards to port excursions and such, not really too much about the ship itself. But because everything happens on the ship, we got to do so many things!
And in terms of HK Disneyland, the BBF was a regular there so I let him take the lead in the planning process (which wasn't so much a lead as him bringing me to all of HIS favorite attractions LOL)

So.. on to the pre-trip plan as May 15th is only 10 or so days away!!! YAYYY!!!


PRE-TRIP PLANNING

So I guess the idea of this whole trip bubbled up after our HK Disneyland trip when we realized that we were doing a sort of Disney streak for the last few years. Once we decided that WDW was our next stop, I realized that in all the simple 28 years of my life, this would be my first ever Walt Disney World trip (and His too!) - I know right?! So much for being Disney nerds. Of course, we had to go!

The planning journey began in late December of 2016. The plane tickets were booked in January 2017. We are flying Westjet, direct flight from Toronto to Orlando for both flights (there and back!). Hotels booked in February. ADRs and FPs done in March (I know! So Late!!! We completely missed out on getting an ADR for BOG dinner time ) In terms of hotels, we are staying for 2 nights at the Towneplace Suites by Marriott at the Western entrance. 2 nights at POR and 1 night at ASMovies.

This is a rough plan so far of the week:

Monday May 15:

6am - Wake up and leave for airport
10:30am - Plane departs. We are FLYING! Bye Felicia err Toronto
1:00pm - Plane lands. TOUCHDOWN ORLANDO!
- Taxi to Denny's and then Uber from there to Townplace Suites (cost: $25-$35 myabe)
2:00pm - Check in (hopefully room's ready), if time - freshen up and rest
3:00pm/4:00pm - Uber to AK
5:00pm - Finding Nemo
6:00pm - Rides: Dinosaur FP+ and then standby lines for other rides
7:00pm - Tusker House ADR
8:00pm - Free time
8:30pm- ROL FP+
9:30pm - Linger in AK/ uber to hotel
10:00pm- Late night swim or hot tub.
11:30pm - Shower, cuddle time and SLEEP!

Tuesday May 16:

7am - Wake up and get ready!
8am- Breakfast
8:30am - Uber to AK
9:00am to 12:00noon - Kilimanjaro Safaris, Kali River Rapids, EE, Trails and Animals etc. Hoping to meet Tarzan/Pocahontas! Lion King, Flights of wonder LOL, basically just a morning in AK.

12:00noon - Uber to HS
1:00pm - Toy Story Mania FP+, (if lines aren't too bad: TT, RnR)
2:00pm - Mama Melrose ADR
3:00-5:00pm - Star Tours, Beauty and the Beast, Movie Ride, Voyage of Little Mermaid
6:30pm - 50's ADR
7:30-8:30 - Free time around HS
8:15/8:30 - Head to Fantasmic
9:00-10:00pm - Fantasmic, Star Wars Fireworks and going around
10:00pm - Uber back to hotel
11:00pm - Pool time/Hot tub time or straight to bed!

Wednesday May 17:
8am - Wake up time and breakfast
9am - Check out of hotel
10am - Uber to POR and check in. If room is available, then maybe chill at POR, pool time or if not, head to EPCOT
11am-3pm: Debating whether to spend time at POR or head to EPCOT
3pm - ADR at Akershus
4pm - FEA FP+
5pm - 7pm - Free time
7:30pm - Le Cellier ADR
9:00pm - Illuminations
10:00pm - Bus back to POR
Trying to see if we could do a late-night quiet pool time, but not sure how strictly pool hours are enforced.
12:00am - SLEEP!!!

Thursday May 18:
7am - Wake up time
8am - Bus to MK
RD - 9am - 7DMT or Enchanted Tales with Belle
9:30am - BOG Breakfast ADR
10am-1:30pm - FP+ at Peter Pan, Haunted Mansion, Pirates, Fantasy Land time + Adventure Land time
1:30pm - Crystal Palace ADR
3:00pm - PARADE
4:00pm- 9:00pm - Free Time, other rides - Frontierland time and Tomorrowland time, shopping, characters
9:00pm - Fireworks!
11:00pm - Bus back to POR and SLEEP!

Friday May 19:

7am - Wake up time and breakfast
8am - Check out of POR and UBer to ASmovies
9:00am - Check in at ASmovies, then bus to Typhoon Lagoon
10am-1pm - Typhoon Lagoon
1pm - bus back to ASmovies
2pm - Rest, relax, refresh
3pm - Spend rest of day at either EPCOT (to do Future World) or Disney Springs or resort (still deciding)
10 or 11pm - Back to Asmovies and pool time and then SLEEP!

Saturday May 20:

8 or 9am - Wake up time and breakfast
10am or 11am - Check out and ME to airport
2pm - Flight leaves (BYE ORLANDO )
5pm - Arrive back in Toronto and sleep for the next 24hours!!


In planning this trip, I've made use of the following Crowd Calendars and websites:

Touring plans, Kenny the Pirate, Undercover Tourist, EasyWDW, WDWprepschool, Dad's guide to WDW and of course DISBOARDS!

I have the MDE app and Touring Plans app on my phone to help me on the day of. We also purchased Memory Maker and hope to make the most of it!

No need to uber.....you can ride the internal busses from park to park. And most hotels even those offsite offer a shuttle. Not that I am trying to put an uber driver out of work but it just makes more sense to use Disney transportation. (I am an uber driver myself where I live so I love to be busy when I am out driving)

True!!! Forgot about that Yes, will definitely use the bus to go from AK to HS. Thanks for that tip But to and from our off-site hotel, we are using Uber Thanks so much!
