Disney Logo Tote from Disney catalog/online

Does anyone have this tote bag? I want to know how heavy it is. Thinking of getting it with my order today, but I want to use it while walking through the parks next year and don't want it to be heavy before I even load it up with stuff!

This looks similar to one I bought at the parks in January. Mine is black and says WALT DISNEY WORLD in the same kind of letters..since it says it polyester I think its the same material which is lightweight almost nylony feel material, not canvas..Its not very heavy except for the piece that sits on the bottom inside to keep it shaped..

but ended up getting the cooler bag instead. It looks a bit bigger and has the insulated water bottle holder. Usually cooler bags are light, so I'm thinking this would be as well. There are outer pockets and I think the inside is divided into sections. I don't know how to post a link, but if you look up logo, or cooler it should come up. I need to throw baby stuff, snacks, pins, autograph book, my wallet, and other stuff in there, so this will hopefully be big enough, yet easy to carry onto the rides. The tote looks ok depending on how much stuff you're planning on throwing in. Let me know which you get & how it turns out!

My mom has the same one in Black and it is not too heavy on its own. She really loads hers up too and she was able to carry it throughout the parks with no difficulty.

Thank you!!!! Yeah, I was hoping it wasn't the canvas type fabric that is really thick and heavy. So this is great!!

Cute bag! This is the type of bag you carried on your previous trip? You find it easier to carry than a backpack? Just trying to sort out what type of bag to bring for us.

I purchased this bag last month. We are sending my daughter's band director to Disney as an end-of-the-year gift, and I needed something to put everything in to present it to him. This bag is perfect: it feels like canvas, but it is much lighter weight. I couldn't find a tag showing the material name, but it is a water-resistant type fabric, and the inside of the bag is lined with a vinyl-plastic feeling material. This bag looks like something one would take to the parks, although I prefer a backpack or fanny pack. I also ordered the monogrammed Mickey duffel for myself, and it is made of the same water-resistant material as the bag.

Does this tote bag have a zipper on the top? It only mentions the zipper on the side.

Do you have a store near you? It may be cheaper there. I didn't check the price, but I did see them today. I bought the cooler today for 13.78. It's 19$ on the website. The tote bag looks really cute & they have t-shirts & shorts to match it.

I was at the store 2 weekends ago and they didn't have these there. That's cool you have them in your store!! I'd love to see it in person before buying it...hence all my questions! lol

I didn't notice if it had a zipper. Sorry I should add that we do not have a regular Disney store here, only an outlet store.

I just find that backpacks are annoying sticking out behind me, and it's hard to get into them while you're wearing them. So I prefer a shoulder bag that I can reach into while it's still hanging on my shoulder. The one I used last trip was smaller with a longer handle. I purposely got something that was small, yet big enough to hold all our stuff. But I realized while there that I would have been fine with a bigger bag. And it'll be nice to have something bigger to hold small souvenirs and snacks we buy along the way!

Oh ok, so maybe our outlet store would have them too! Might have to take a trip down there to the mall where it is sooner than I thought! Just have to talk dh into it! heehee Thanks for your help!!

Liz, I think I saw in another post that you are in AA co. If you want to take a nice 2 hour drive to DE. our outlet store is in Rehobeth (not too far from Ocean City). There are many nice outlet shops there & a Cracker Barrel right across the street.

The bag I purchased a few weeks ago from the Disney store Online has a zipper on the top(that zips up the main compartment, and a zipper on the side(this is a pretty roomy side pocket). It also has a velcro pocket behind the side pocket which is really neat. I'm glad it has so many pockets...we are stuffing them full of goodies for my daughter's band director!

I have had this bag for a couple of years (black color) and I loveit. It seems almost magical to me sometimes what fits into it. I also just got the matching backpack at MK in April. It is very lightweight. The straps are a good length and it does have great assortment of pocklets. Probably one of my fave bags and I am a bag/backpack-oholic. Hope this helped.

I ordered this bag, the cooler bag and the Minnie Towel bag last week and they're arriving today. I can check mine and see about the zipper and what it's made out of. I love these bags and couldn't decide which to get so I bought all three!
