Hey budget friends,

I have a TON of Disney lithographs (going back to when they were VHS) that are sitting in a closet. I just preordered Tangled which is what made me think of it.

I'd love to display them but I can't figure out how. They're an odd size so frames are pretty expensive for them and I feel like they need something more special than just being tacked to the wall with tape of that sticky blue stuff which is probably the cheapest option.

Any ideas? Anybody display theirs in a special way?

Buy a generic size frame and have mats cut - mats are much cheaper than custom frames, especially using Hobby Lobby or Michaels coupons. The mats won't be even all the way around for every picture but the same size frame will help with uniformity.

I have also seen picture displays that are long cables with clips and you can clip your pictures to the cable - the are kind of industrial or modern looking. I think Ikea has them and then you wouldn't have to worry about frames. This might look nice in a long hall or along a long wall - maybe even put two cables stacked if you have enough.

A friend of mine painted around the pictures to make it look like a long film strip that took up almost the whole wall. It looked really cool.
