Disney Light'Ears

Does anyone know if the Disney Light'Ears (the hats with ears that light up along with the Dreams show) work in all the parks? We bought a set in Disneyland California in August, and I'm wondering if they will work in Paris? Any thoughts?

We are travelling with hand luggage only so if they don't work in Paris I can save on the space in the cases!

I think I remember reading that they do...which doesn't help very much at all...

The ones bought at DLP work in the other parks.
Unfortunately it doesn't work the other way around.

I asked the Disney Store on Facebook because I have a set from California too and they said they won't work in Paris shame really, they look identical!
