Disney letters from Santa - updated with offer

Something really randoms just happened...

Someone in work just came up to me and asked if I'd take a letter to santa with me in December from her daughter. Asking her why she said she's read that if you drop a letter off Santa will reply before Christmas Eve... is she dreaming or does that really happen?

If it's true I might just do one for my lil cousin.

Can someone shed some light on this for me please

This is true, you can now post your letter to Santa at DLP and he will reply by Christmas Eve. Going to help Kyra write her list soon so we can post it when we go

I heard this aswell. And Im going to write one from my daughter eventhough shes only 14 mths. It will be a lovely keepsake.
I also read somewhere that you will be able to meet and greet with santa !!! Which I think is a new thing.

I think its a great idea for kids to post there letter to santa at disney and then to get a reply from him by christmas eve , i will be doing this for my boys and my friends kids too ............... so what i am saying is if anyone wants me to post letters for them i wil take them for you and post them at disney when i go on the 17th november all youll need to do is post them to me in a envelope and i will pop them in my suitcase and hey presto fingers crossed aletter from santa for christmas lol...

I think you have to put your letter in a certain a special envelope given to you there with your letter in. Something to do with your address being on the envelope.

Lovely gesture though.

Oh no really if that is the case can i not just take people's addresses and try for you anyways i am still going to take my friends kids letters with there address on and hope for the best its up to you guys if you want me to try i will thats no problem i am good at wangling things lol .......oh and thankyou for the offer of the post card but this trip is a complete supprise the first they will know is when we arrive at st pancreas lol but thankyou so much anyway xxx but maybe you could ask or check out this postbox thingy ????

sorry me again I just looked at the other thread about santa letters and there is alink on there for his letter you can choose a background colour and so on and it says you print of your letter and envelopes are available for you at disney .......so if you want to print of letters and post them to me with your adress them when i arrive me and hubby will grab a bundle of envelopes and get writing in our hotel that evening then post them all the next day what do you guys think ???

there are special envelopes at the grotto

so all you need to do is put the kids letter in one , and write the address on it and hey presto lol
