I never thought much about, until I received one I would really like to use. It was sent to my personal email address, but is addressed to my EX BF. I called and asked if I would be able to use it and the CM told me no quite bluntly. I don't think this is fair. Does anybody have any suggestions? If I don't get a good discount for my May trip I won't be going this year, so Disney is just hurting them self...

I would call again. Tell them you received a PIN to your email, give them the pin code and your info. I received a mailed PIN to my address but BFF name. I called to get a quote and the CM had no problem with me using it. Slightly different as it was mail, but it's worth trying.
I would not mention the fact that you are not the person who's name is on it. Just give them your name, info and the pin code.

This has happend to me too. I booked my reservation, and a seperate one for my mother in law who was travelling with us. At the time she did not have an email address at home(she didnt' want it going to her work email), so I gave Disney my email address so they could send me her reservation confirmation. Well, every so often now I get an email from Disney with the subject field as "great offer, pin code" something to that point, I get all excited, then I look a the name and it is addressed to her. I have called Disney several times, explained the situation, asked for my email to be taken off her "profile", have been put on hold, transferred to several people, and told it was taken care of, but then I continue to get the emails. For the disney cruiseline too!! It drives me crazy. Everytime it happens, I call to see if I can get the deal and I am told it is only valid for the person it is addressed to, so then I explain once again to them, they tell me they take care of it, but nope, they didn't. I actually just got one again last week for dates thru June, which is when we are interested in going, so I guess I will call up again and explain the situation for the 10th time!

book the trip and bill it to your ex :)

^^^ Tee hee!

I was thinking you might wanna reconsider if he is really not the one, but I like Gris Gris's idea better.. much less drastic!
