Disney Junior Encyclopedia as Autograph book question

For those of you who used the 2014 edition, did you have it spiral bound to add pages? I'm think of taking off the covers and removing the pages. Looking for feedback. Thanks!!

Back in 2014 I used the 2014 edition. Although, I didn't add pages at that time, I did have a Dis Designer create a personalized cover for the book (Mickey Name-Fill) and had Office Max cut off the hard cover, laminate the new cover and spiral bind the book. It was very inexpensive. My purpose of having the book spiral bound was to bring the overall weight of the book down and to make it easier to open flat for autograph signing.
