Disney Junior Dine & Play Vs. Minnie's Seasonal Dine?

We have a Disney Junior Dine and Play breakfast booked for 10:00am. Our kids are 3 & 6, so Disney Junior is still up their alley. But, now that lunch at Hollywood and Vine also includes characters for Minnie's Seasonal Dine, I am wondering if that is a better value on the dining plan? I've heard mixed reviews of the buffets at H&V so don't know if we should play it safer with the breakfast standards. I currently have both booked with Fantasmic package, just wondering which one to "release". :D

Also, can we meet Jake elsewhere? That is the only one I would be sad my son might not meet as he is crazy for him right now.

P.S. For what it is worth, for the rest of the trip we are planning breakfast in our AoA suite. Our son in particular is ravenous when he wakes up so not sure how hungry he'll be for "second breakfast". ETA: Oops I forgot we have Tusker House at 10:45 one day for "brunch", but I think that is late enough he'll eat some more.

Thanks for any thoughts.

We've never done the Minnie's Seasonal Dine so I can't comment on that, but our DDs did enjoy the Disney Junior Dine and Play. They were 6 & 2 at the time. Jake and Sophia are usually back near the Disney Junior Live show. We met both with about a 15 min wait at each. Super easy meet n greet.
